Books that have an IL designation of MG or MY (in the UK) MUST ALSO have a BL of 5.0 (or higher) AND AR Pts of 7.0 (or higher)

The BB or GRA claim must be made explicitly - a summary total at the end of the post is not sufficient. We look for the "magic words" - "GR Author ticket" or something similar along with the book post - a summary total will often be overlooked.
Please repost indicating that you would like to claim a GRA ticket. Reposts must be complete so be sure to include book links and any necessary information.
When you repost for an author ticket, please indicate that at the top of your post, so that Dlmrose will know that she does not need to review the post for points.

Victoria C - I think I have an error in the GoodReads author totals.
I had +1 in my recent post 277, but it did not get updated in the count through post 400. I should have a total of 2 GR authors through post 400.

Post 277 did not include your readerboard name - that would account for your not being credited with it. Looks as if you edited that post a little while after posting - but if I had already noted it on my spreadsheet, I would not have seen your edit. And, yes, sometimes, I'm working on the spreadsheet when you post, so things get recorded immediately.
Please repost, including your readerboard name, indicating that you would like to claim a GRA ticket. Reposts must be complete so be sure to include book links and any necessary information.
When you repost for an author ticket, please indicate that at the top of your post, so that Dlmrose will know that she does not need to review the post for points.
Oh - I think this is going to be an issue for me, I keep forgetting! But I edited that post #277 15 minutes after I posted it to add my Readerboard name (it's there now and has been there for a long time).I just made the same error this afternoon - and again went back and edited it within an hour to add my name to the top. (Post 409).
I guess that's causing it's own problem somehow? Are the mods not seeing a post that was edited even if it was a very short time later? I was thinking it wouldn't be an issue since it was so quick, but apparently I'm wrong.
you never know when the mods are goign to go through the posts - sometimes they do a bunch, sometimes its piecemeal - always a good idea to not edit and assume they are going to see it, make a new post and let them know what you did

If we've passed that post, we're not going to see your edits - we don't look back. And, as I said above, sometimes I'm working on the spreadsheet at a time when you've just barely posted - so even 15 minutes will be too late.
And, Dlmrose and I aren't necessarily going through the posts at the same time, either - so one of us might get to it before you edit, one after. Basically, as Dee says, you should never assume that we'll see an edit.
