Helps me too - I copy the posts onto a virtual sticky note & use the last one as the template for the new one, so I'm using the number from my last post as a base for the new one.

FYI, if you are claiming a GR author ticket, you must be specific, including stating which author you are claiming. A tally at the end of your post is not sufficient.

I am always looking at the "questions/problems" thread so I can better figure out my own postings/reading etc (the page number one always gets me a bit) but here even though there is a Mass Market Paperback listed, it's the French translation so I wouldn't think to use that one normally but perhaps I should?

The paperback was the first one listed in the editions and I just didn't check for mass market I guess. Should have put a little bit more energy to the task.

Books in languages other than English should be used to determine page length if they appear at the top of the list. Large-type books should be skipped.

I didn't realize that. The paperback with 250 pages shows first for me with the French MMP the 4th listing but I know now to avoid any MMPs then...

Use the method in the rules:
If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.

From the editions page (click all editions on the main book page)
Set the Format, beginning with Mass Market Paperback
Set the Sort By as "num ratings"
Use the top edition result to determine the page number for ebooks and audiobooks
If there are no editions in MMPB, reset with Paperback and the same sort (num ratings). If there are no paperback editions, reset with Hardcover and the same sort (num ratings). If there are no print editions the ebook or audiobook may not be used for a task requiring a page number
If the sort results in a Large Type edition at the top omit that book and move to the next record or format.

from posting requirements- The BB or GRA claim must be made with the specific book posting - a list at the end or beginning of the post is not sufficient. A tally at the end of the post doesn't work.
Please repost indicating that you would like to claim a GRA ticket and stating the name of the author for whom you are claiming a ticket, along with the specific task post. Reposts must be complete so include book links and any necessary information.
When you repost for a GRA ticket, please indicate that at the top of your post, so that Dlmrose will know that she does not need to review the post for points.

My records show 14 GRA tickets, but the updated list only shows 13. My readerboard name is Kristen IA and my most recent post was #3636. I thought maybe the issue was that I read the same author that I've read previously in the challenge, but that hasn't been an issue before. If it is, I'm sorry if I missed that rule...rookie mistake! Found it, Kristen. I think the problem was that the Evanovich GRA claim in the most recent post was in italics and looked like part of the preceding quote, so I just didn't spot it. Maybe in the future you could leave a space before the GRA claim, so it will be more noticeable.
The fix will show up in the next update.
