Jo’s sister Trixie seemed to have a chip on her shoulder when it came to dealing with her. Given what we learn about her role in Ken and Timmy’s deaths, why was she so angry with Jo? Was that part of her psychological damage as an abused woman?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1812 comments Trixie's guilty conscience played a significant role in her attitude toward Jo.

I would have expected her to have behaved better towards Jo, not the opposite. She was downright hostile.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I wondered why she was so nasty. I think you're right, is was psychological damage from her abuse and maybe, she was jealous of Jo's life and family and guilt that she destroyed that.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 9294 comments Mod
She was downright mean to her. You might be on to something.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1812 comments Yes her aggression was unwarranted.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I feel like Trixie was mad at herself and felt like she didn't deserve Jo's love and attention. The anger she showed toward Jo may have been her way of pushing her sister away.

I think the points you and Lauren make are classic behaviors of someone consumed with guilt. It’s not rational and I keep trying to make it so.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I think she was mad at herself too and lashed out at Jo because she felt that because of her actions, she ruined Jo's life. Not rational at all but Trixie was definitely messed up.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I'm with Lauren and all of you who saw Trixie's knowledge of her own guilt as the major factor in her attitude. How could she confess to her sister? Very sad....
