When Aaron takes off with Jo on the snowmobile, she seems doomed. Do you think she could have escaped without Jason’s help? Was it foolhardy of him to take off after her?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1811 comments Jason is an alpha in the making. This is not surprising given his father the sheriff and his uncle the wilderness survival expert... That said, not common sense at all!

As for Jo escaping without Jason, she was a very resourceful woman and would have gotten away at some point - that bear spray could have come in handy then too.

Jason is 12-years old...it was crazy!

Jo is very resourceful and she never lost her wits. I felt confident that she would, at some point, out maneuver Aaron. That bear spray was lethal!

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I agree, Jason was crazy to go after her. I can't believe he thought he could save her. Loved the bear spray, but she should have grabbed the gun and shot him for good measure. At least she should have taken the gun.

I really, really wanted her to grab that gun but she was more concerned about getting Jason out of there, rightly so.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I think Jo would have figured something out on her own. Jason's actions were foolhardy, but he's definitely his father's son. He cares for Jo and wanted to help her.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I do think Jo would have somehow gotten away. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree with Jason. I thought it was sweet that he wanted to help her. Not well thought out but he's just a kid and didn't realize the risk.
