I finished
and I was amazed by it. Available everywhere tomorrow, I'm pretty sure this will be in my top ten of the year.

So far for 2020 I read The Witching Hour, by Anne Rice. I was so loving it until the end. I was disappointed in the last part, but I heard things are explained and straightened out in the next book, so I may give it a try.
Recently finished Carnivorous Lunar Activities by Max Booth III

I just finished
and I was impressed! I loved how the story unraveled as a gothic mystery and how the authors intertwined Bram Stoker's life with his literary legacy. So good!
Just finished Blood Cult by David Robbins
My thoughts: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'd suggest getting your cult fiction fix elsewhere...
Finished reading Nicholas Meyer's Sherlock Holmes pastiche, The Seven-Percent Solution: Being a Reprint from the Reminiscences of John H. Watson, MD. I enjoyed it well enough, partly as a change of genre form my usual fare, but I didn't think it was spectacular! However, I'm happy to have finally read a book that I bought secondhand when I was still a kid. That must be one of the books that had the longest TBR shelf-life for me.

I tend to give up on long running series like this but this is one of the few I have continued reading.
Just this month alone I have read these books:
by Duncan Ralston
by Michael Phillip Cash
by Jeff DeGordick

You've been busy, Marie!
I finished [book:Velocities: Stories|48143727] by Kathe Koja and I finished The Prisoners of Stewartville by Shannon Felton and enjoyed the hell out of both.
Recently finished
and I enjoyed it, but didn't love it. Same with
which felt too long (even though it's pretty short) because the writing was mediocre. Satirical and funny at first, but very much surface 'wit' (more so bland social commentary) and repetitive. Also finished
and was very pleasantly surprised. Very much a Gothic romance, with paranormal elements. A less graphic kin to Anne Rice.

I am not done by a long shot as I also read this book within 24 hours as I just could not put it down!
by Lee MountfordI was sick with a cold for about a week and didn't feel like doing anything except reading, so I decided to spend my time wisely and that is what I did by reading some books! :)
I recently finished Nights of the Living Dead: An Anthology and loved every blood smeared page.

Not sure if it's still going to pan out since any article on it is from 2018. I'd love to see it happen though.

I love to hear that, Spyros! :) I'm glad that you liked it.
I finished The Only Good Indians
by Stephen Graham Jones. Mark my words, this book is greatness! It's not coming out for another few months, but it's going to blow people away.
finished this one recently...
a really cool little haunted house novel. Ending was a little predictable but had some fun horror movie references and tropes in there.
Unbury CarolI gave this 3 stars which I typically do if I find a story to be mediocre. However, I did like the idea of the book a lot, I think it just got bogged down with a lot of unnecessary story lines.

The Neon Rain. These aren't horror, more like crime or crime noir, but I liked this one and I do believe I'm going to continue the series.
