Jawahar Pinnelli (jawahar37) | 3 comments The book probably came out in the last couple of years. It is upto the protagonist to save the world from a (possibly) alien threat. The time gets reset every time he fails - Edge of tomorrow style. The rest of the world is completely unaware of the invasion, because time gets reset every time to a point before the invasion began. The protagonist is possibly the only one who remembers.

The book probably came out in the last 3 years. The protagonist is a high-schooler.

All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka

Jawahar Pinnelli (jawahar37) | 3 comments I should've made it clearer.
This book is merely based on the same concept as edge of tomorrow and the book that it is based on: "All you need is kill".

From what I remember hearing about this book, in this story there is no war that the general public is aware of. The invasion could be a little subtler.

I think, I heard about the book in an advertisement on the No such thing as a fish podcast; if that helps.

If you don't find your book here, you could ask a podcast host. For example, Andrew Hunter Murray accepts direct messages on Twitter.

Jawahar Pinnelli (jawahar37) | 3 comments Thanks, Kris. I'll try that. Although, I'm not completely sure that's where I heard it from.
