anya you need to read the maze runner. it is has more info than the movie so if you just skip it and read the scorch trials then you won't be able to understand some of what's going on. hope this is helpful.

When I saw the movie, I watched it with a friend. And my friend had told me that he had read the book, and about the changes he noticed between the book and the movie. I just didn't like the movie cause I thought I noticed stuff in there that I also noticed in The Hunger Games movie. Ya know, stuff like pacing, certain thematic elements, etc. My friend said he thought I might like it, and I thought I might need more convincing that that in order to read it.

Honestly, I see hardly any similarities between The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner books. Overall, I thought the movie was good, or at least I enjoyed it, but not as good as the book. If you read the book, the pacing in it is a lot better than in the movie. I think you should rent the book from a library, and read the first few chapters to see if you like it.

I'll try the book. But I did think the movie was decent, even though I didn't really care for it. I just seems that Hollywood is jumping on the bandwagon of making films for tweens that are about tweens taking on a dystopian government. And all of them seem to run toghter, or at least to me they do. Kinda makes me long for something like The Running Man. Which is kind of the same thing, but made more for adults.

Phoebe The book is way better than the movie because Gally is also way way way more irritating in the story lol

Phoebe You know what, we're not convincing anyone in here. It's still up to Noel if he'll read the book or not. Anyway, don't you think he'll somehow be excited or curious if we spill some spoilers?

Or Noel will get ticked that we spoiled the books for him/her. So, no, I don't think we should spill some spoilers.

Noël Spoilers no spoilers, I still plan on reading the book. My name confuses a lot of people, but it's 'Noelle', just spelled Noël, and I'm girl :)

It's just because your profile is on private, so we can't tell. :/

Okay, I was fairly certain you were a girl, but I didn't want to insult you in case you weren't, lol.

Michaela your question has probably been answered, and you probably have already decided to read the book or not but im at work and super bored so im going to add my 2 cents in anyway to kill the 30 mins I have left until knock off.

I think you should definitely read the book, a lot of things were changed in the film that happened in the book (which super annoyed me btw).

I was unable to enjoy the scorch trial for some reason. I haven't wrapped my head around it but I loved Death cure.

so yeah if you haven't already. you should read the book, I thought the book was so much better. but then again my opinion is biased because I read the book before the movie.
