Awww... I liked the Langdon books. Im just waiting for a borders 40% coupon to make buying the hardcover worth it for me!
What I hated most about The da Vinci Code - and there was a lot to hate on - was the fact that every chapter opening re-capped the last chapter ending.I CAN KEEP UP, DAN BROWN, THANKS.
Even tho the writing was baaaad, I really liked The DaVinci Code as well, stayed up late to finish it. I love symbolism, old conspiracies, The Knight Templers and the Masons, all that shit. I had tons of fun with it. But couldn't get past the first 2 pages of Angels and Demons, just seemed more of the same. I think I tried it shortly after reading TDC. I am very curious about this new book.So sue me!

Natalie: YES! I liked the story and read the whole thing but was irritated the whole way through because of the sucky writing. Sometimes I wish people with good ideas for stories would collaborate with someone who knows how to fucking write!!
Psst, Kasia, look! It's your lurker!
Gretchen wrote: "Psst, Kasia, look! It's your lurker! "You remembered! (Even I forgot and it took me a moment...) :D
My question is - after posting once, are you still a lurker or already a legitimate member?
Gretchen wrote: "That's captain emu to you."Hauptman? Oberst? I insist on sticking to the German rangs.
Dave wrote: "There used to be a girl in THC who had an emu avatar. I was feeling nostalgic."
Yes, Emma. Where'd she go? She got mad when we booted Carlie, I think.

Sherri,
