They look like great books, Alexandra! If you're able to get your hands on the audiobook version of Becoming, narrated by Michelle Obama herself, I can highly recommend that as an immersive experience of "reading" the book.

Read it in a day and thoroughly enjoyed it; had been holding off reading it from last year when I originally bought it. And added bonus I could count it against 9 monthly, quarterly and annual challenges!

Dear Sarah I am doing just that.....on my long commute to work. You are correct. It is an immersive experience and a very interesting one. I had no idea she mentored Barack in the early days of legal practice. But then my ignorance knows no bounds somegtimes :)

Kylie (kyliemaree) | 878 comments Thank you Brenda. :) My eyes aren't going too badly now. Still having a few issues with the left, (which I'm fairly sure is due to a very tight fitting contact lens predominantly), however I'm heading to Melbourne on Monday for an appointment with my optometrist (this was planned at my last check-up in September) so no doubt he will be able to sort it. :) Thanks again - I missed this place. :)
