I wasn't a big fan of the original book, but this one did make me curious.

This tells the story of a young woman, Sophie, who owns the perfume shop that actress Grace Kelly runs into to hide from the paparazzi. That is the start of a friendship between Sophie and Grace Kelly and even the start of the Sophie's relationship with the photographer that chased the future princess into the shop. My first Roberts trilogy and I really enjoyed it! After getting over the similarities to The Stand. lol.

haha yeah. I just read The Stand last spring so it still stuck in my mind when I read this trilogy.

I think I made it to book #13 or #14 or so in this series and then got burned out! But overall, I do love it quite a bit!

My library only has this as an actual physical copy. With my recent workload/work schedule, I can't even make it to the library to pick up books, so I gave up on this one. :( One day!

There's this weird notice on Overdrive for this book:

So there's no actual estimated timeframe. I placed my hold on 1/24. And my library doesn't have any physical copies!

I rated this one 3 stars when I read it. My review ends with, "I'm curious enough to continue the series, but not captivated enough that I'll be rushing to do so." And that was 9 years ago, so... *shrug*

Well, I listened to a "free" copy on Loyalbooks.com. They do have a lot of public domain books, but they are not professionally done. People volunteer. I think a good narrator would make all the difference.
