My first Roberts trilogy and I really enjoyed it! After getting over the similarities to The Stand. lol.

Oh my gosh! Why did I not see the similarities between this series and The Stand!? Maybe because I read it about 40 years ago...

I've been trying to decide whether to get involved in this series--still kind of on the fence!

Donna, I had been on the fence for years and finally said, "What the heck!" Glad I did... now, do I continue the series?

My library only has this as an actual physical copy. With my recent workload/work schedule, I can't even make it to the library to pick up books, so I gave up on this one. :( One day!

There's this weird notice on Overdrive for this book:
"Some copies of this title belong to specific member libraries, and their users are given priority for holds on those copies. For this reason, users may jump forward or move backward on the wait list, so we can't accurately estimate wait time.
Your place in line: 11
Library copies: 2
People waiting in total: 30
People waiting per copy: 15"
So there's no actual estimated timeframe. I placed my hold on 1/24. And my library doesn't have any physical copies!

I wish we could swap! You can get my library's physical copy and I get your jumping-around eBook!

I rated this one 3 stars when I read it. My review ends with, "I'm curious enough to continue the series, but not captivated enough that I'll be rushing to do so." And that was 9 years ago, so... *shrug*

Well, I listened to a "free" copy on Loyalbooks.com. They do have a lot of public domain books, but they are not professionally done. People volunteer. I think a good narrator would make all the difference.
