Connie wrote: "Good Luck! There are some books in my TBR from 2011 - I should read them in 2020!"Thanks! A couple of years ago I let my list get away from me, so I am trying to be uber-vigilant.
Donna wrote: "Good luck with your 2020 goals! You finished an amazing number of books for 2019!"Thanks, Donna! Good Luck to you, too! Can't remember if you are a Charlotte Bronte fan, but Julie and I are going to read Mr. Rochester by Sarah Shoemaker in January. We loved Jane Eyre. If you are interested, please join us.

A Lone Star Christmas by William W. Johnstone - A clean western that doesn't have the language and slurs that other and older westerns might. Big Jim Conyers, one of the biggest cattle ranchers in the Fort Worth, Texas area, is transitioning from the Texas Longhorn cattle to the more profitable Black Angus. They need to get the 2,500 head of Angus from Kansas to the Conyer Ranch. Unfortunately, a lot of people also know about it. **** 1/2/20

5.
The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson - This is the story of Cussy Carter. One of the Packhorse Librarians of Kentucky. I thought being a Packhorse librarian would be the main part of the story, being it is part of America's little known history, but it was really the secondary story... **** 1/5/2020

The new wife quickly found herself overworked. **** 1/6/2020

We should! Anything particular that you want to read. She has written A LOT of books! I could probably read one of her books as early as next month, but no rush if you want to push it out.BTW, have you started Mr. Rochester? I am just a little bit in.
11.
Unnatural Habits by Kerry Greenwood - Another great Phyrne Fisher mystery! Phryne gets asked for help from a female newspaper reporter, and then the reporter gets kidnapped! Plus, there is a lot of hinky things going on involving young, blonde women. **** 1/9/2020
12.
A Spool of Blue Thread by Anne Tyler - The story of the Whitshanks. First Red's family and then it turns into the story of his parent's. To me it seemed to be the story of every family... the stodgy father, the airy mother, the twinkie daughters, the son nobody understands, the loud and crazy grandchildren. The story also centered around "the house". **** 1/10/19

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid - This story was so realistic that I had to keep reminding myself that it and it's characters were fiction. The story of Evelyn Hugo's rise to stardom and the rocky road that it was. **** 1/23/2020

Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris- About 3 books ago, I got a little burned out on this series, so I gave it a break and picked it up almost a year later. Now I am loving it again. Poor Sookie can't stay away from trouble. In this series, the vampires have come out to the public years ago. Now the were-creatures (not just wolves, panthers and other animals) have come out. Sookie gets involved in some local trouble and it could be the death of her! **** 1/24/2020
