Sharon | 5464 comments My kindle is bursting at the seams with so many unread Netgalley and assorted kindle books. Here’s hoping for a lighter kindle in 2020 😊🤞

message 4: by Laur (new)

Laur (httpswwwgoodreadscomlaur) Hey Sharon....mind if I join you? Same number...I’m in for 50. I have a terrible habit of reading 1 then adding 2-3 more.

message 5: by Sharon (new)

Sharon | 5464 comments Hi Laur, no I don’t mind at all. Look forward to following your challenge :)

Veronica ⭐️ | 2384 comments great challenge Sharon. You're not the only one that has a fully loaded kindle. I will be hoping to reduce mine as well. Not by 50 though.

message 7: by Em__Jay (new)

Em__Jay | 500 comments I also need to do this. My feedback ratio is woeful and the number of books still to read and review is overwhelming.

message 8: by Sharon (new)

Sharon | 5464 comments Thank you, Veronica. Good luck with trying to reduce yours 😊

message 13: by Ace (new)

Ace (aceonroam) All the best with your challenge Sharon. I seem to add more than I read. Way way more. It will be tough for you to come out on top at the end of the year, but that's what challenges are all about!

message 14: by Sharon (new)

Sharon | 5464 comments Thanks Ace and yes I agree it will be tough, but I’ll give it my best 😊

my actual kindle is probably full - my mum reads more of my kindle books than i do lol - i just have to work out how to stop it showing up on my goodreads as 'read' when she finishes one (its the same account different device) if anyone knows how i'd love to know.

Make sure your internet is turned off Bec. Unless you want to download a book, it is better to have it turned off all the time. Less drain on the battery plus you don't have to fight with your GR shelf :)

You're doing well Sharon!

message 27: by Sharon (new)

Sharon | 5464 comments Thanks Brenda. Helpful tip on the kindle as I didn’t know that having the wifi on drained the battery. Thanks :)

message 37: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 1543 comments This is a great challenge, Sharon! I've also got to clean up my act re: Netgalley, to give myself a better chance of approval on future titles. I still have a few I haven't read from last year, so will need to get to them asap. How did you enjoy Truths I Never Told You? I bought it recently for my mother-in-law (and thinking I'll borrow it back from her when she's finished!), based on my enjoyment of The Things We Cannot Say last year. My M.I.L. was a bit worried by the comparison in the blurb to Jodi Piccoult, as neither of us really like reading her. What did you think?

Hi Sarah, I really enjoyed Truths I Never Told You, but I see there have been mixed reviews on this one. All you can do is give it a go you never know you may just enjoy it. Here is the link to my review if you’re interested :)

She’s a great author, Brenda. Can’t wait to see what her next book will be. Although I do have enough books to read, so I probably can wait :)
