Thank you for your reply. I will continue looking for a book that fits one of the challenges. I am just now beginning but I am determined to finish the challenge.

I don't recall them being refugees, just immigrants, but I read it years ago so I might have forgotten. I think it would work for historical fiction not set in WWII.
