Don't know if it bothers you, but I hate reading out of order and think reading the "Rogues" series first enhances the "Daughters" series. ."Ach, no, I haven't read the Rogues series. Heath would be a totally new-to-me author. Okay, it looks like I have a whole series to read before I can get to To Marry an Heiress because I also hate reading books out of order. I'm convinced it would trigger the apocalypse.

That is great to know, Lauren! I would like to know more about her.

We must do everything we can to stop the apocalypse!
I finished Barefoot with a Stranger by Roxanne St. Claire, Barefoot Bay Undercover #2, and loved it! If I didn't have an upcoming commitment I'd jump right into the next book. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Stripped Raw by Prescott Lane. She's one of the few authors in the NA genre that I read.

The character are... let's say, sexually liberated and inventive.
Jonetta wrote: "I take it you're enjoying this series!"I am. It's not a fast paced series and the murder mysteries are not the major storyline but I like the characters.
I just read the first book in a series; the author, Elly Griffiths is new to me. The books are set in England, and I'm glad my five years living there has helped me keep up with the story. I really liked the first book, giving it 4.5 stars.

I loved that book. It really made me think.
I am reading Lost Girls
and
The Bitter Season
I'm reading another Temperance Brennan story by Kathy Reichs:
. The library copy is so well used that there is a section loose from the binding. I just have to be careful in handling it while I read.
I finished two books today. First I finished
The Soul Catcher by Alex Kava. I enjoyed this one even though I figured out the killer early in the book.My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
And, I finally finished listening to
Fragile by Lisa Unger. The pacing of this book was soooooo slooooow, it was painful. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished Stripped Raw by Prescott Lane and very much enjoyed it. Here's my review.
I also finished listening to What You Need by Lorelei James, Need You #1, and found it interesting but not a strong start of the series. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Why Mermaids Sing by C.S. Harris, Sebastian St. Cyr #3, and listening to Unlawful Contact by Pamela Clare, I-Team #3.

I just finished Book #8 in the Temperance Brennan series by Kathy Reichs:
.Not her best outing, by far. She took the idea, as suggested by a Religion professor colleague, and I am too familiar with this topic to be professionally neutral. I saw some reviewers' comparisons to Dan Brown on Jesus, and this is NOT that, however.
I will take a break and get to this month's group readings, which are almost Legion!
I just finished Lost Girls
so I am now up to date with the DI Kim Stone Series. Its a really great series but not for the faint of heart.
Jonetta its really good! Another one for the tbr lol! The fourth book is coming out in May. There will eventually be 8 of them
I finished Why Mermaids Sing by C.S. Harris, Sebastian St. Cyr #3, and LOVED it! Here's my review.
I'm now reading Show No Fear by Marliss Melton, SEAL Team 12 #7.

I'm currently reading #11 in the Sebastian St Cyr series,
. No reading of the blurb for those of you participating in the series read! There be spoilers! :-)
I finished reading Split Second by Alex Kava. Here's my review.I have started reading Riders by Veronica Rossi.
Jonetta wrote: "Thanks for the heads up, Veronica!"You're welcome. I'd hate to spoil something for someone.
I agree Stephanie, I just finished What Angels Fearand loved it. I am now reading Clean Sweep
and finishing up
Stephanie wrote: "Reading When Gods Die and loving it!!! Definitely continuing Harry Bosch too, but will probably catch up to the group with this series first. Wow!!! Love the colorful characters and regency setting..."
I'm grateful, too!

I started listening to Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone yesterday and it is brilliant. Stephen Fry is very good at the narration. The first and last time I read this book was on my honeymoon in 2000. I have forgotten how good it is.

is out as of yesterday so I'll likely be reading that next. It's #9 in the series.
Mary wrote: "I just finished The Bitter Season #5 and completed the series."Great!! I've read a few of these, are the later books as good as the earlier ones?

Book #2 was just as good but in a different way. I liked learning more about Bess.
