Robin (robinmy) | 3516 comments Had a long drive this week, so I listened to Bitter Sweet by LaVyrle Spencer Bitter Sweet by LaVyrle Spencer. This book has a love triangle and adultery, yet I still enjoyed listening to it.

My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I also read The Charade by Laura Lee Guhrke The Charade by Laura Lee Guhrke. It's nice to have a different setting for a historical romance.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 656 comments I didn't realize that this is the first book of a series until I looked it up here, but I'm now nearly halfway through The Stranger You Seek (Keye Street #1) by Amanda Kyle Williams .

This is a serial killer book, and the author writes well. Have others among you read this series?

Run from Fear (Dead Wrong, #3) by Jami Alden . There were a few times I thought about TSTL, but then I wondered whether it was just because the reader knew so much more about the villany this time.

Monica | 860 comments I finished Cold-Hearted Rake (book 1 Cold-Hearted Rake) by Lisa Kleypas and I absolutely loved it! Kleypas is back in historical and she does not disappoint. I loved every character in this book and cannot wait to read all their stories. I'm already counting down the days until book 2. And the hero in that book reminds me of Lord St. Vincent (my all-time fave book boyfriend) from Devil in Winter and Harry Rutledge (my fave book boyfriend from The Hathaways) from Tempt Me at Twilight.

Laura I just finished up the Wild Riders series by Jaci Burton. I really enjoyed it. The biker aspect is really a front for their undercover work so if you aren't into that you still may like it. Each book is about a different member of the team and the mission that they are assigned to complete. Very steamy also.

Monica | 860 comments I finished two books yesterday.

Six of Crows (book 1 Six of Crows) by Leigh Bardugo takes readers back to the world she'd created in The Grisha series. And she did not disappoint. I may have even loved this more than The Grisha series. The cast of characters is well-developed, this is especially impressive considering that we get POVs from almost each main character (5/6) multiple times throughout the book. The narration is excellent, with a narrator per character/chapter.

I also finished reading The Game Plan (book 3 Game On) by Kristen Callihan. And oh my Dex, this book was so good. Kristen Callihan hits it out of the park every time with this series. Or should I say scores a touchdown? (It's football themed)
