I finished What a Duke Dares, Sons of Sin #3, and loved, loved, loved it! This is the Anna Campbell I've enjoyed in the past.

I also finished listening to Dead Run by P.J. Tracy and really enjoyed the story. It was harrowing most of the time but the author balanced it with the humorous banter between the main characters.

I'm now starting my binge read of the rest of the Fatal series by Marie Force, beginning with Fatal Flaw, book #4. I'm also listening to The Liar by Nora Roberts.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 656 comments Jonetta, I have FATAL FLAW sitting on my bedside table but I fear I've forgotten the previous books enough that I can't start this one until I do some skimming or reading reviews, or something. I really like Marie Force and would like to catch up on this series. So many books/series, so little time :(

I know, I know. This one starts up (view spoiler).

Another thing you can do, Charlene, is to read some of the spoiler-ish reviews here on Goodreads for the earlier books. That's what I do when there's been a significant amount of time between books and most of the time it works better than skimming!

Erin (erin36) | 484 comments There's a lot going on in my personal life this month and my reading is taking a butt kicking as a result. Thank goodness for audiobooks!!

I finished listening to Key of Light by Nora Roberts and it was exactly the light, charming story I needed!

I'm now starting the audio of Key of Knowledge by Nora Roberts.

These are books 1 and 2 in Roberts' Key Trilogy.

Glad you're still able to get some reading in, Erin. Love audiobooks! Yesterday, I worked on a project for almost three hours (it was sort of mindless) and audiobooks saved the day!

I've listened to them in the car for many years. Getting those headphones opened the door to a whole new world of listening opportunities (and a cleaner house!).

Sunny (wkonsunshine) | 426 comments I wish I could listen to audio books while I'm working, but I get too distracted. I find it difficult to compose documents when I'm words like "sighing", "heartpounding", and "orgasm."

Oh, I can't really work at something that requires me to do a lot of thinking and listen to an audiobook. Yesterday's project was all editing, not substantive...things like removing pagination, stray punctuation, cleaning up margins. It was all visual.

Just finished listening to The Liar by Nora Roberts, narrated by January LaVoy, whose performance was really good (my first experience with her). While I enjoyed the story, it was seriously weak on suspense...more like a contemporary romance with an element (very small) of suspense. It's a feel good kind of story with a cute kid.

I'm now listening to Every Which Way But Dead by Kim Harrison.

Monica | 860 comments I just finished 2 books and 1 novella. The Year We Hid Away (book 2 The Ivy Years) and Blonde Date (book 2.5 The Ivy Years) by Sarina Bowen. Both were good, The Year We Hid Away was pretty emotional and I loved Bridger. And Blonde Date was a light, fun read.

I also finished Burn for Me (book 1 Hidden Legacy) by Ilona Andrews and absolutely loved it. It's a great start to a new series. I cannot wait for book 2!

Monica | 860 comments I am now listening to Murder of Crows (book 2 The Others) by Anne Bishop and really enjoying it so far. This is such a fascinating world, and I'm loving the dynamics between Meg and Simon right now.

I'm also reading The Understatement of the Year (book 3 The Ivy Years) by Sarina Bowen and I'm enjoying it. This book in the series features a m/m romance, which is somewhat new to me. I'm not sure if it's my thing, but I do love Graham and Rikker and their romance is sweet.

Liz (Bugetta) (bugetta) | 399 comments I've been so bad about updating my reading on here lately and I've read a lot lately.

Right now, I'm in the middle of two audiobooks. You know when you get to a part of a book and you can see where the story is going and you're not in the mood for that particular plot device? That's where I am in About That Night, which is good but not nearly as good as the first two in the series. So, I set that aside and now I'm listening to the last book in the Bone Secrets series by Kendra Elliott called Alone. It's a romantic suspense with a reunited lovers storyline and I'm enjoying it so far. The mystery is this one is super creepy.

I've also read a crapton of e-books but the stand out for me was the first in a new series: Chaos Station by Jenn Burke and Kelly Jensen, which was an m/m sci fi romance and I really liked it. Great world building and romance and action. I love it when a book works on all levels like that!

I just finished Snowcroft Lost by Christi Snow and it was good, not great.

About That Night About That Night (FBI/US Attorney, #3) by Julie James by Julie James which I enjoyed but not as much as the first two. I definitely missed the romantic suspense element of the first two books but it was still enjoyable.

I also read Spring Break at the Villa Hermes (Brandt and Donnelly Caper, #4) by Xavier Mayne Spring Break at the Villa Hermes by Xavier Mayne which I really enjoyed. The last book in this series was a bit of a miss in the romance department but this one really worked for me. So yay!
