Hope you enjoy, be interesting to read your review .

Just finished book 1. Lots of characters, 3 marriage involved in this book.
Started book 2 which we catch up with Lady Rawlings story, and introduces two new potential lovers. Henrietta and Simon.

Rated both ★★★½ b/c even if somewhat romance-lite (esp #1 = lightning-fast, insta-lust/love), enjoyed ensemble cast/family, as well as some excellent bantering. Now, here’s hoping I can remember enough until #3 released :)

It started out with a lot of perfume "magic" which ended up adding to my excitement and planning on reading Beast for the botm in Ap..."
One of my favourite HRs and heroes.

Yes, I liked that one too. Remember the scene in the library with the pear inside the bottle? LOL. Loved that section.

The Rules Of Seduction, Lessons of Desire, Secrets of Surrender.

I haven't started #4 yet, but the eldest Rothwell brother has me intrigued and I'm looking forward to it.
The Sins of Lord Easterbrook

I have to say I'm not particularly keen on the titles in this series (#4 is OK), but the books are much better then they sound.
Jan wrote: "I have been reading a new-to-me author and series and have decided to add them to my series challenge. The Rothwells by Madeline Hunter. I've just read, and 4-starred, #1 and #2 and now reading #3...."
Wow, you’re flying through this series! Glad you’re enjoying it. I agree the titles for the first three at least are not great.

Yeah I'm working from home now, which I'm finding a bit stressful as I'm not used to it. Enjoying escaping into a good book whenever I get some free time. (I only work part-time).
Those titles feel really old-fashioned, whereas the books themselves aren't.

I just finished Secrets of Surrender by Madeline Hunter. 4 stars.
Going to start The Sins of Lord Easterbrook.

It has been more than 3 yrs, but I remember the pear in the bottle scene:)

Sounds like a good series to read Jan. Will have to look out for the books.
I have just started to read
Lisa Kleypas, Bow Street series.

I read and liked the first one in that series. Not sure why I didn't go on to the next one. I will at some stage LOL.

Ha ha. Yeah, it was pretty memorable.

Thanks for the info, Darbella. I will put it on my 'considering' pile.

I have read one of her books, My Dearest Enemy. A love story that begins with Letters. And a fight for an inheritance, enjoyable read.

Great progress!

Wow! Well done you! I have read and liked #1 in that series. Must get back to it some time.

Doing good Jan, You got through that series quick.

Way to go! Getting through them quickly!"
Not being able to go out of the house, you tend to read more. LOL

I have stopped reading books that we so good when I was young as they are magic. Often times when I reread them the magic disappears and they don't hold up well for me. This happened just recently when I reread Watch the Wall, My Darling. I adored Hodge when I was a teen.

These two Pirate's used to be partners. The nice pirate Grayson Viscount Stoke (book1)
Now we have his ill tempered ex friend James Ardmore (villain) story. He was not a nice person in book 1. Be interesting to see how he romances a lady.

Highland Warrior book 1. James Campbell goes to look for Outlaw's of a rival clan. But finds Caitrina Lamont.

@Jan...going to have to try this series. I am challenging myself this year on reading new authors and so far its been 50/50

Hope you enjoy, Debbie. I really liked the series, especially the first three. Book 4 wasn't quite as good but I still enjoyed it too.

Who is the author?"
It is the Celeste Bradley series. There are three books- Devil in My Bed - Rogue in My Arms - Scoundrel in My Dreams. I read them a while (long) time ago. I remember liking them. I should re-read.
