ScarredHand | 2 comments The main characters were 4 kids, 2 of which were humans (a boy and a girl) and 2 of which were robots (a boy and a girl). The 2 human kids were the oldest of all humans, about 12 I think and the robot ones were about the same age but were special. The reason the two human kids were the oldest humans was because mankind had become extinct, and the previous people before the extinction had made a ton of robots all with set personalities and traits like a real human, to be dormant till a set time safely, then wake up and activate the embryos and raise all the children in set families and act like regular humans (the occasional death, set sicknesses, even marriage, divorces, and moving). There was some sort of thing they needed to get to I think, but that wasn't until the first kid(s) found out that their "parents were actually robots." The robot kids were technically illegal because they were built by two robot parents and were made specially to age and grow like regular human kids. The robots figured kids figured out they could change their programming to be better at certain things i.e, faster, stronger, better seeing and hearing, etc. All of the robots could do a thing called an "all-call". When a robot sent out an "all-call" the other they were sending out a request for certain information, which all the other robots had to respond to. This might be part of a series. I think this book is a teens but it might be a children's.
Also, in the end, a big used to be mean robot goes by the name Felix.
Thanks

Anne (absconderanne) | 37 comments I don't remember a robot named Felix, but this sounds a lot like Under Their Skin by Madelyn Peterson Haddix. It's quite possible that there was a robot named Felix, and I just don't remember it.
