Wrong Author Name

Working on this. Done! The two books that were associated to the old profile are now associated to your new one. Unfortunately, I couldn't merge the old into the new one (to avoid discrepancies) because you created a Goodreads Author profile and only you can edit your own data. But, maybe, you can delete the old author profile by logging in that account and doing it manually.

Sofi, in cases like this, Goodreads employees need to merge the profiles so that things like quotes and fans (not just books) also get merged.

Your assumption is correct. Authors can choose to 'delete' their accounts, but the unclaimed author profile remains because there are books that have that author name associated with them in the database. An employee will be able to merge them for you so that you won't lose any fans.

I apologize if I am writing into the wrong topic, but I could not find a better. This book (ISBN 9788087377550) Benátky belong to this author Josef Kroutvor. All details about the book are correct, but the author's name is definitely wrong. Is it possible to fix it? Thank you very much!
