Wow, that's quite a tbr you have. LOL. I enjoyed looking through it and I hope I found a few good picks for you. Let me know if there are any problems.

1.Out With The Old Talk Me Down (Tumble Creek, #1) by Victoria Dahl Cry No More by Linda Howard Shakespeare's Landlord (Lily Bard, #1) by Charlaine Harris Amber Beach (Donovan, #1) by Elizabeth Lowell
an older title on your tbr/preferred shelf
Talk Me Down by Victoria Dahl (your preferred shelf) -- The first book by Dahl I read and I loved it. Molly's quirky humor and Ben's seriousness made for a perfect contrast between the two main characters.
Cry No More by Linda Howard (your preferred shelf) -- One of the best and most emotional of Linda Howard's books. You should definitely read this soon. Just keep a box of tissues handy.
an oldie I loved
Shakespeare's Landlord by Charlaine Harris (new) -- Most people know about her Sookie Stackhouse series, but Harris has written quite a few mysteries also. This is the first book in her Lily Bard series.
Amber Beach by Elizabeth Lowell (new) -- Written by one of my favorite authors, this is the first book in a romantic suspense series.

2.In With The New Rain Girl by Gabi Kreslehner Rules For A Proper Governess (MacKenzies & McBrides, #7) by Jennifer Ashley Sweet Revenge (Nemesis, Unlimited, #1) by Zoe Archer Tiger Eye (Dirk & Steele, #1) by Marjorie M. Liu
new release
Rain Girl by Gabi Kreslehner (your preferred shelf) -- this looks interesting
Rules for a Proper Governess by Jennifer Ashley (your tbr) -- One of my favorite series.
new author to you
Sweet Revenge by Zoe Archer (new) -- I haven't read this one yet, but I loved her Blades of the Rose PNR series. The description from the series info page states "When you need justice, and no one is willing to help, Nemesis, Unlimited delivers vengeance—at any cost. This new series is gritty historical romance that’s like Burn Notice/Leverage in Victorian England." I love Leverage so I'm definitely intrigued. Would you be interested in buddy read?
Tiger Eye by Marjorie M. Liu (new) -- This was recommended to me in a PIFM late last year and I've loved every single book in this PNR series.

3.Celebrate the New Year with Others The Darkest Hour (KGI, #1) by Maya Banks Saved By His Submissive (The WILD Boys Of Special Forces, #1) by Angel Payne Breathe for Me (Be for Me, #1) by Natalie Anderson Feral Sins (The Phoenix Pack, #1) by Suzanne Wright
sexy cover
Darkest Hour by Maya Banks (your preferred shelf) -- another emotional book and well worth the time spent reading.
Saved By His Submissive by Angel Payne (new) -- I read this in September and enjoyed it. I'm definitely going to buy the next book at some point.
cover with an embrace
Breathe for Me by Natalie Anderson (your preferred shelf) -- I haven't read this one either, but I've heard good things about it.
Feral Sins by Suzanne Wright (new) -- Another book recommended to me, I bought it but never got around to reading it. I'd be willing to do a buddy read on this one also.

4.Snuggle up with your pillow and hit the sack early Cupcakes & Chardonnay by Julia Gabriel On Any Given Sundae by Marilyn Brant Girl with the Cat Tattoo (Cool Cats) by Theresa Weir Kiss a Girl in the Rain (Take a Chance) by Nancy Warren
shorter title from your tbr/preferred shelf
Cupcakes & Chardonnay by Julia Gabriel (your preferred shelf) -- This looks like a short and sweet read.
On Any Given Sundae by Marilyn Brant (your preferred shelf) -- This sounds cute. I may have to look it up myself.
new to you shortie
Girl with the Cat Tattoo by Theresa Weir (new) -- A recent freebie find, I haven't had a chance to read this yet, but I've enjoyed other books by this author.
Kiss a Girl in the Rain by Nancy Warren (new) -- Another freebie find and I haven't read it yet either, but Nancy Warren is also an enjoyable author.

Thanks for my picks, Joyce. I'll definitely read Burn for Me (Hidden Legacy, #1) by Ilona Andrews (bought it earlier this month) & Retro Demonology (The Demon Trappers, #0.5) by Jana Oliver (just picked up free on Kindle). I'll probably read Web of Deceit also. I requested Friday by Robert A. Heinlein , Free to Fall by Lauren Miller , & Dream Stalker (The Tracker #1) by Jenna Kernan through inter-library loan, so it depends on what comes in when.

Vi | 2795 comments Hi Pamela Su,

Sorry for the being so late with the picks. I'm at my in-laws place and my online time is so limited. Also, I don't read much M/M so it took me some time to find books that you haven't read. I've tried to do a mix of books from either of your TBR and atleast one NEW pick to you. I've also tried to balance M/M with M/F but I'm not sure if I've been successful. Here are your picks:

1.Out With The Old
[TBR] The Quiet Gentleman by Georgette Heyer
[TBR] Faster Than the Speed of Light by Lucius Parhelion
[NEW] In Bed with the Devil by Lorraine Heath

2.In With The New
[TBR] Ruby Red Booty Shorts & A Louisville Slugger by Lexi Ander
[TBR] Unholy Magic by Stacia Kane
[NEW] Firelight by Kristen Callihan - I know this series (and this in particular) is very popular. Lot of people I know loved this book.
[NEW] Love Comes Silently by Andrew Grey

3.Celebrate the New Year with Others
[TBR] Last Dance At Jitterbug Lounge by Pamela Morsi
[TBR] A Reason To Believe by Diana Copland
[NEW] Wicked Burn by Beth Kery - Really hot and the romance was done well too.

4.Snuggle up with your pillow
[TBR] The Dating Game by Jay Northcote
[TBR] Ride with Me by Ruthie Knox
[NEW] Carol of the Bellskis by Astrid Amara

Let me know if the picks don't work for you. I can try to come up with something else.

Happy Reading!

Vi | 2795 comments Hi Poongothai,

Thanks for the picks. I'm hoping this is the month I get to Festive in Death (In Death, #39) by J.D. Robb . This is the first time I've failed to read the newest book close to the publication date.

I might also go with a Sujatha book though perhaps not Vikram as I don't have it with me now. I have a number of his that I've yet to read.

Also, you've recommended 3 books that are not first in series. May I know why? Can I just start at the first in series?

I do love highlanders, we will have compare notes on best books! :)

Thanks so much for the recs, they all look great! I managed to find the short story, Beauty Touched the Beast, for free on Amazon so I will definitely read that one but I'm also going to try and read many of your other recs.

The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie has been one I've been meaning to read forever, this gives me a good excuse to :) And its not strange at all to only skim books for your favorite parts LOL. Twist Me looks great. I love finding new authors so I can't wait to read Feehan's Shadow Game and see what I've been missing. I've heard such great things about Archer's Voice and also can't wait to pick that one up and Lick looks like so much fun!

Hi Fran,

I loved picking through your shelf. In fact, I picked a couple of the books for me, too.

Enjoy...

Hi Sunshine,

I've read 2 from your picks for me so far... Holly (The Kringle Girls, #1) by Lily Rede and Captive (Behind the Stars, #1) by Leigh Talbert Moore . Holly was super adorable and sweet, I really liked it. I will continue with that series :) Captive was an interesting start to a sci-fi series, I may continue with that one too.

Thanks for the great recs! I still hope to get to a few more from your list this month :)

I read Web of Deceit by Jennifer Estep this morning. Nice little short in the Elemental Assassin universe. I'm also currently reading Burn for Me (Hidden Legacy, #1) by Ilona Andrews and loving it.

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments hi Beppy - I just finished up Ivan - lots of people have been raving about this author and i'll admit to being worried, but I was pleasantly surprised - I gave it 3.5 stars because I wants a bit more, it was too quick of a read (only about 125ish pgs - amazon says between 99 and 150 depending on version) - but i'm intrigued enough that I want to continue the series
