Impressive, Barbara!
I've only read a few of those and I have a few more on my TBR pile. ;) Looks like some older ones and some really new ones. I'll have to investigate a few of those since I'm always on the hunt for more Austenesque to love.

Wow, Barbara, such an impressive list! And quite a range of star ratings too, I'm glad you found some you rated highly to balance out those you weren't so enamoured of :)
Sorry that I haven't been around a lot lately. I have finally got some reading done though. The Houseguest: A Pride and Prejudice Vagary: Loved. One of my favorite stories ever.
Alone with Mr. Darcy: A Pride & Prejudice Variation: Loved but want more kitty in the story!
Dragonfly in Amber: I can now see why people have said that they don't continue with the books. I don't think I will read another but I did love the first one.
Mr. Darcy's Refuge: A Pride & Prejudice Variation: I love the Col Fitzwilliam story in this story. It is now one of my faves.
Look at you, Talia!
Three more Austenesque and a really huge Diana Gabaldon book. I have Mr. Darcy's Refuge for later so glad it was a good one.

I'm so glad you allowed your arm to be twisted, Sheila. Welcome to Mr. Bennet level. This is a fantastic list of books read and I love seeing your ratings, too. I hope to catc up on a few of your reviews as I scope out the books. There are a few that might be new to me which is always exciting to discover new Austenesque books. But, whew, I see a lot that I have to still read. Glad to see that you gave them good ratings.
I have that one unread on my kindle (I have a lot of books on there, if only I could buy reading time!). I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Yes, I have many a book on kindle besides all the paperbacks I read long ago and want to review...thus this one, which I read back in 2009 but had to read again. It all seemed new so was a delight for a second time.
This has been an enjoyable and exciting challenge. When I began the challenge at the Mr. Bennet Level, I began reading my 665 variations in ABC order. Realizing many of my favorite authors came later in the alphabet, I switched gears and jumped around. This list are the books finished reading, rating (which is subjective), and comments (although, many turned into a synopsis). Still reading, but from now on will probably only give a rating.https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
Wow, Carol!
That's a great list of reading and I'm so glad you took the time to assemble it and include your notes. I rely on everyone's thoughts when I go to choose my books. You're my hero. ;)
I see so many that are familiar and even more that are new to me. So reassuring to know that I'll probably never run out of Austenesque stories to read.

Wow, I looked at that list: I have read over 250 JAFF books (many reviewed) but I have never made a list like that. Have you counted how many you have read from that list? I have many paperbacks which I am going back and re-reading and then posting reviews. That is my goal - to review all JAFF, especially, but all I read from now on.
Out of my 665 books, 250 are read. I have a ways to go, but so enjoy reading about Darcy and Elizabeth. I also have new Phantom of the Opera variations to read that are new since December 2014. Happy reading to all of us.
Carol, I tried to request you as a friend but I couldn't answer the question about your cat's name. Are you only interested in having close acquaintances as friends on goodreads? I love your list and I am also addicted to Darcy and Lizzy... I just can't get enough of these two!!!
Great lists everyone! I need to start putting some of these on my own list. As usual I am behind on posting. I have now read 28/51The Pursuit of Mary Bennet - 3 Stars
I can't quite put my finger on why I didn't love this one. Overall I wasn't a huge fan of Mary's characterization.
Dearest Friends - 4 Stars
This one had an interesting twist. I liked the relationship between Darcy and Elizabeth and I really liked Mary's development in this one. I thought Jane kind of flip flopped a bit in this one. I enjoyed this book.
Echoes of Pemberley - 4 Stars
Sometimes I struggle with the YA/Teen romances and their believability but this one was well done. Catie sometimes came off as unlikeable (especially in the beginning) but it got better as the book went on and you came to understand her more. Loved the Sean Kelly character. A good modern adaptation.
Assumed Engagement - 4 Stars
Not my favorite Kara Louise books but it was enjoyable. The premise was interesting but overall the book was strongest in the beginning. Georgiana was sweet and I liked the handkerchief parts as well.
Alone with Mr. Darcy - 3.5 Stars
This book was good as well. I did find Mr. Bennet's reason for keeping Darcy and Elizabeth apart kind of weak. The story about Georgiana's mother seemed a bit odd as well. Overall I enjoyed this book but I would recommend other books by this author before this one.
A Peculiar Connection - 4.5 Stars
I thought this was a very daring variation but the author did a really good job making it seem possible. There was a good amount of angst. I was surprised Elizabeth was not as into the idea of solving the mystery as Darcy was. I love Jan Hahn's books and this one was no exception.
Re. A Peculiar Connection, I was a little surprised at how little Elizabeth fought acceptance of the idea too, Shannon. Excellent book though!
I loved this book!!! I read it in one night and thought it was so well done. Darcy and Elizabeth loved each other so much in this book... And they were together the whole time. I don't enjoy variations where they are apart much of the story...
Impressive update, Shannon!
I didn't realize Echoes was a YA. I have it on my list of reads so I'm glad it turned out good.
I loved Mary's story in Dearest Friends too. I hope there is more to it actually.

Phantom
My books this weekend were:Pirates and Prejudice: What is not to love here?
Alias Thomas Bennet: The only problem with this book is that the author hasn't written another yet. Please write!
Lost to the Ocean: I am not a big fan of the author but it was creative.
Chance Encounters: More Linda Wells anything. Loved it!
Chance Encounters and Pirates and Prejudice are two I read parts of again and again...if not the entire book.
Sheila wrote: "Chance Encounters and Pirates and Prejudice are two I read parts of again and again...if not the entire book."Both are terrific!
Nice group of reads, Talia.
I still have Pirates and Alias on my TBR pile and I loved Chance Encounters.
Wasn't familiar with Lost to the Ocean so I'll have to check it out.

I think I rated the Ocean one as to stars. But I loved the others.
Sophia wrote: "Oooh, ouch! Okay, thanks Talia."You can read it, you may like it. It wasn't as good as the others to me.
50.) One Love Two Hearts Three Stories by J. Dawn King (not showing up on Goodreads but I posted a reveiw on Amazon - 5 stars)
Oh yay! Glad Joy's book was a hit. I didn't even know about it until Monday so I added it to my wish list.
Claudine wrote: "Is there a kindle version of King's book?"Yes. I don't know what country you're in but just search for the ASIN, which is...
B00YCKCY8A
On Amazon and it should come up
Just after I posted this I tried searching by the ASIN on Goodreads and the book came up, though it didn't when I searched by author nameOne Love - Two Hearts - Three Stories: A Pride & Prejudice Anthology: The Library, Married!, Ramsgate
I didn't know you could do that, we live and learn!
Sheila wrote: "50.) One Love Two Hearts Three Stories by J. Dawn King (not showing up on Goodreads but I posted a reveiw on Amazon - 5 stars)"I'm so happy you liked it, Sheila. Hopefully it will be on Goodreads soon.
Claudine wrote: "Is there a kindle version of King's book?"It should be out in the next 24 hours on eBook. Right now I'm just doing Kindle as the formatting for me to do Nook is hard. It's still a learning process.
I just checked the various Amazon markets for my new book. It's currently available in Australia, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, and the European markets. The only ones it's not showing up on is China and the US. Imagine that!
It showed up for me when I looked on the U.S. Site but I don't know whether it's available to buy there because it tells me that since I'm in the UK I can't buy ebook a from there anyway!http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00YCKC...
Claudine wrote: "It won't let me buy Kindle version in the U.S."Thank you for trying. Patience! Apparently it's working through the upload process and the US is the last one available. Go figure!
