Okay, I have spent years looking for a book I remember reading first about 10 years ago. I can't remember much, but there is a little girl who lives in a house on the lake and is seeing/talking to a ghost in a mirror. This ghost convinces her to switch bodies for days at a time. At one point the girl is on a boat when the ghost tries to drown her, I think so that she could stay living in her body? I've googled as much as I could, and it's definitely not "Wait Till Helen Comes," as I bought that thinking it was. I am unsure if it's "Mirror of Danger," but I can't find it to purchase since it's out of print and I didn't read anything about the drowning online so I am not sold on that book. ANY HELP APPRECIATED!

I was able to find the book on this site and happened to recognize the cover. It is called "The Accident" by Diane Hoh
