Sarah (soulwinds) | 3 comments This anthology was probably released somewhere between 1980-late 90's?
Contains a whole bunch of short stories, but I remember that Midnight Visitor by Robert Arthur along with Night Drive by Will F. Jenkins were definitely in there. Was used in Edmonton Public Schools as a English resource. Trying to track down a copy for a teacher friend. I would settle for something similar with these two stories in it if I had to.

Scott Here's a list of titles that contained the Jenkins story:

They are all 50s and 60s though.

I didn't see "Midnight Visitor" under Robert Arthur but here are some other possibilities:

It's Robert Arthur. I found the short story online. Just really want the anthology because there was some other good ones in there. But I cannot find it for the life of me despite my usual librarian finding powers. Been searching the world wide web and coming up empty.

I'm beginning to think it might be in one of those old anthologies from a dead textbook publishing company....

Thanks For trying Scott! I really appreciate you taking a crack at it too!

Scott No problem. When you mentioned Robert Arthur I thought of those Alfred Hitchcock-branded anthologies that came out in the 50s and 60s, some of which Arthur ghost-edited and which sometimes contained a story by him. I enjoy those, so I thought I'd take a crack at it.
