LOST is McCarthy's Bar : A Journey of Discovery in Ireland by Pete MCCARTHY. I've only just added it to my TBR in Goodreads but I've had the paper copy sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be read for at least 10 years. I probably bought it when it was published, which would make it 20 years!!

FOUND is No Country for Old Men by Cormac MCCARTHY.

LOST = 384 page paperback
FOUND = 322 page Kindle edition

If our lost book's author uses initials (e.g., J.A. Jance), may I use a found book A author that uses "J." with any other (or no) initial? Or does the author need to use "J.A."?

if your lost books author used initials - then you just need to match the first initial

so for J.A. Jance - you could use J.R. ward (for example) - but the author has to use initials - you couldn't use like Janet Evanovich as the matching author

does that make sense?
