Michael | 11 comments Book was reviewed in a weekend newspaper in Sydney, Australia, around the 3rd / 4th November 2019.

About a group of narcissistic young women.

Can you remember any other plot points? I assume the book is new and the author is American.

message 3: by Michael (new)

Michael | 11 comments No, sorry.
It was quit a brief review - just remember what has been mentioned above.
Not sure of the author's origins - most likely USA, but could be Australian or possibly British even.
I'm sure the book is likely to be a very recent release.

Rainbowheart | 28692 comments When you say a group of young women, do you mean three or more?

Do you remember what made them seem narcissistic?

message 5: by Michael (new)

Michael | 11 comments Wasn't, "Love At First Like ".
There wasn't romance, it was more about either the lead fenale character or the whole group getting into some sort of strife.

message 6: by Michael (last edited Nov 14, 2019 03:40AM) (new)

Michael | 11 comments Yes, I'd say 3 or more.
They were very "look at me" type of personalities.

message 8: by Michael (new)

Michael | 11 comments No, that wasn't it.

Rosa (rosaiglarsh) | 5384 comments Do you remember which newspaper it was?

message 11: by Michael (new)

Michael | 11 comments Rosa - Sydney Morning Herald or Sunday Telegraph

Rainbow - Neither of those

message 12: by Rainbowheart (new)

Rainbowheart | 28692 comments I tried checking the online archives for both of those papers, but nothing stood out to me.

Have you checked to see if anything looks familiar?

message 13: by Michael (new)

Michael | 11 comments Yes, nothing online - the print and online editions can differ slightly.

message 14: by Mai (new)

Mai | 1280 comments Probably not but just in case... The Regulars by Georgia Clark?

The author is Australian but now lives in New York. The book is set in Brooklyn and it's about three young women. Not sure about the narcissistic part but it is about beauty (I haven't read it but that's what the summary of the plot says).

Michael, please put genre and at least one or two plot points (from what you've already written) in your topic header. Use the little edit link next to it.

message 16: by Michael (new)

Michael | 11 comments Wasn't "The Regulars"

message 17: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 1527 comments possibly The Favorite Sister, or Bunny? Both published within the last year, but not sure if the Aussie publication dates are different.

message 19: by Michael (new)

Michael | 11 comments Rachel & Juels

Thanks for your replies but it wasn't any of the books suggested,

Michael, what's the genre (which we need to add to the topic header) - e.g., teen or adult, romance, chick lit, mystery, thriller? Are they college/university students?
