I'm reading None of the Above by I. W. Gregorio. It's definitely a powerful book, but there are a couple of things that are bothering me.
I'm still reading my 3rd book: Thirteen Reasons WhyI had no time to read today because of work, but i hope to read some more tomorrow!
Currently reading Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. It's exactly as good as I hoped! :D
I just finished Random . I wasn't too connected to the characters and the story was a bit dry, but I really like the ending!I am now about to read Howl's Moving Castle
Finished Eleanor & Park, liked the story but hated the ending. Now I'm reading Falling Into Place by Amy Zhang. I have about 50 pages left but I'm falling at sleep so I'll finish it tomorrow.
I'm actually really struggling to find books that I own/on my TBR to read because I've put myself on a book buying ban so far I've read nothing :(please help!

I saw that you Owned Matilda, that book is a fast read & contains bullying.
Maye you can find some more in the Lirary?
Just finished "Falling Into Place" and I really liked it! I'm about to start "The Kite Runner" hopefully is really good.
Just finished my second book Gracefully Grayson, so now im starting the book Speak hoping it will be just as good as my first two reads. If this turns out to be a quick read I think I will read The Merciless
I just finished Asking For It and quite liked it. It was a heavy and, at times, difficult read though.
Just finished up my 2nd book and I'm reading Wonder now. I've been posting my daily updates on my blog: https://bookstacksamber.wordpress.com...
after finishing George and Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda i'm now onto Wonder! (and I hope I'll get to re-read Suicide Notes) I'm also listening to the How to Train Your Dragon audiobook (david tennant's voice though)
I've read five books so far (Butter, Wonder, Smile, Matilda, and Eleanor & Park) and I've started Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock which will probably be the last book of the readathon for me :)
Have now moved onto The merciless, I'm about halfway through the book but keep having to take breaks. A little scarier/creepier than I like but good book.
I finished Suicide Notes by Michael Thomas Ford today!Books read this week:
George
Simon Vs The Homosapiens Agenda
Wonder
Suicide Notes
Here is a book that might be of interest to this group. Teaching Bullies Zero Tolerance on the Court or in the Classroom by Jennifer Fraser Ph.D. Here is my review."Teaching Bullies Zero Tolerance on the Court or in the Classroom chronicles 14 teen lives as they maneuver their way through the arduous grievance process set by schools and courts. Jennifer Fraser PhD.D. shows the emotional effects abusive coaching/teaching has on a young mind.
She clearly demonstrates through documentation and testimony how some student athletes perceive their coaches as “God like” and the dangers of such a mindset.
The emotional effects abusive coaches have on athletes are likened to the abusive effects a child experiences growing up in a violent household.
The ball players in Teaching Bullies, much like a child living in a violent home, fall prey to depression, embarrassment, and worry, to name a few. The social effects are much like an individual that experiences workplace abuse/bullying are, but not limited to; isolation, low self-esteem, withdrawal, and trust. Although the 14 athletes are subjected to such abuses and ostracized for taking a stand they muster the courage it takes and should be role models.
Everyone deserves the right to feel safe and be treated with respect in our schools whether in the classroom or on the court. Jennifer’s book is a must read for anyone that cares about the education system."
If any of you are interested in reading my book, Bravery, Bullies & Blowhards Lessons Learned in a Montana Classroom message me or email me. Check out the reviews on Amazon if you want. Thanks! Lorna
