Welcome to Want Buddy Read Discussion thread! This thread officially opens on November 10th and anyone can join at any time. Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up!

Each week we will be reading by chapters. The suggested Buddy Read discussion schedule is as follows:

Week of 11/10
November 10: Chapters 1-2
November 11: Chapters 3-4

November 13: Chapters 7-8
November 14: Chapters 9-10
November 15: Chapters 11-12

I'm not sold on the story from the first chapter, which is understandable since it's only the first chapter. But the kidnapping was ??? like who acts like that with their kidnapper and kidnappee. She asks to be let out and he takes her hand and they take a stroll through his garden??? I just can't comprehend it.

On the other had I'm more interested in the fucked up pollution world. It says it's science fiction but it's not that much fiction, yes the reality isn't as bad as the Want world however it's here.

I read chapters 2 and 3 and it didn't make me like the story more, if anything I hope to finish it extra fast. The way it's written screams amateur.

Chapter 11 (view spoiler)[ Wow, the way he distanced himself from her was badly done, he was close with her in the previous chapters too close and now he just pushes her away. I'm pretty sure she knows more than she's letting on and if she didn't now she should be suspicious.

His break in into Jin corp was too smooth. And I have a problem with that, because things are never that easy. Yes, he was caught by Joseph but still. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 12 (view spoiler)[ Them using Daiyu's code for every possible place that has codes is... a bit reckless and stupid, no? I mean yes there's a high chance they are going to get in but also a high chance they would be discovered, well Daiyu would be discovered and she's not stupid she could tie it to Jason. Chapter 13 (view spoiler)[I'm pretty sure Jason hasn't told Daiyu he has some friends in Taipei since he's new to town and has no one there.. so him telling her his friends have been sick is a slip. (hide spoiler)]

Finished it (view spoiler)[ Well what a surprise that Daiyu was playing him from the beginning. I liked only 7% of the book from the moment the bombing started till the moment they decided to have sex because "they wanted it for so long" I'm rolling my eyes so hard. (hide spoiler)]
