No... I wasn't suggesting rape. I don't think KMM would repeat that. I was saying that as long as she didn't turn priya afterwards.
Ok if she have sex with Christian out of her own free will. I don't think she can be turn Pri-ya ? I don't know why I feel this! but she has I strong will and if she go into observer mode? She might be stronger then Mac. And emotionally unaffected ??? This is really speculating big time!!!
Wow, just wow. I am so glad I stumbled upon this forum! I enjoyed reading all of your comments. They were definitely fun to read. I just finished reading Iced and I have to admit that Iced did ruin my love for Mac. Before Iced even existed, I was all for Mac and Barrons, but now...I'm rooting for Dani and Ryo! Here's what I think will happen in Burned. Mac is going to take Dani under her wing and Ryo didn't like it at all. Barrons and Ryo fought about it big time. Eventually Ryo gave in. Fast forward to the time where Dani finally grew up and became stronger and beautiful than before, somehow Mac and Dani faced something very dangerous and they had to fight together. Dani thought maybe Ryo had something to do with the monster that he released. She went out to look for Ryo and somehow they got into a huge fight.....maybe even in a physical fight...Dancer got in their way and Dani accidentally hurt him. Made Dani get even more furious with Ryo. Ryo ended up saving Dancer for them. Of course, Dancer and Dani fell in love with each other for a short time, but Dancer betrayed Dani. Dani got beat up by some random monster and Ryo saved her....from there they started to show their feelings for each other. Jo and Mac get in their way. This is just my guess. Who knows what KMM had came up with? Probably way much better than my idea/guess!
Wow Marie. I had tons of thoughts about what would happen but since we got so many teasers I have to shift my thoughts a bit.One thing I think will happen is that we will learn a little bit more from Dancer. I don't think he will last the rest of the series. I am not 100% sure if he will betray Dani that would be a repeat of Vlane/Cruce.
There seems to be another entity besides the Fae that they will have to battle.
Will Dani fall out with the crew? Possibly. One of the teasers she was watching Barrons& Mac fight like she was on the outside so that says something. If a fight scene is going on she would be getting down.
I had originally thought the observer would make an appearance in Burned. Now that there is an additional two books, I'm thinking later on. No need to reveal to us all that Dani can do in Burned. I think Ryodan will play a big part in releasing the observer's grip on Dani.
Dani will spend some time in faery. Not an entire book but she has to go in there. Maybe that's where she will link up with Christian. Save him from the hag.
One of the freaking sheep will be releasing Cruce. Somehow he is making a comeback. He can't stay locked forever. OMG, can you imagine the havoc that will cause.
Thanks Samantha and your ideas have a lot of potential ! Dani falling out with the team sounds interesting ? This can lead to a lot of fights.
Depends on what she did. I don't like that though. I don't want her on her own.
I really don't think Christian will be Dani's first, but Dancer. Here's why:1) Dani has shown zero attraction to Christian, whereas she has referred to Dancer as "hot"
2) Christian doesn't really like/love Dani, he is only obsessed with the idea of her
3) In their first real "intimate" moment together (Dani wakes up in his bed) she feels zero attraction or excitement, only freaks and wants to get out of there
4) She wasn't even THAT upset when she thought Christian was killed!
Yes I agree but what will be the most upsetting? Dancer,Christian or Unseelie Prince? Remember KMM wants the wow factor!!!
Yes but I think she wants something good for Dani more than just the wow factor.
OK, still catching up on what everyone wrote... lol, Inanda, how can you think Barrons could be Dani's first! Omg that would be way too messed up. I don't think Barrons would ever consider it. And I think Dani loves Mac too much to seriously consider it. She just has a crush on him. She says and thinks a lot of stuff she doesn't really mean.Only a few more weeks! Bummer thing is I will be on vacation when the book comes out! I won't be able to read it till a little later :( By the time I finish Burned and get on goodreads again I am sure I will have to wade through PAGES and PAGES of all your reactions to Burned and I will be so behind! lol.

What??? Did I miss that. Barrons as her first? Ugh! LOL. I can't. She does have a crush but don't forget one of the first teasers KMM gave was Dani watching Barrons step out of somewhere. She admires his beauty but she is mad that Ryodan has started to invade her dreams. She was so pissed. That crush is going to be so short lived. Don't worry. I don't think I will be reading it the day it comes out. That weekend most likely. I need time to read without interruptions and get my emotions together.
Glad to hear it :) Inanda, yeah, KMM was all over the place, changing the dates for the Burned release, changing the focus to Mac in Burned. Ugh! I still hope she will deliver a great book. And not make Dani go through tooooo many horrible things. She has already had such a tough life!

I thought you did not notice Barron's oh I do love to stir stuff up!!! But imagine the upset if Barron's is her first!!! Ha ha he he my evil laugh.
Little Feather, I have a love and hate relationship with Iced. Maybe I should give it a 3 because I really do love those characters especially Dani and Ryo very much. Just that I think some scenes were very ridiculous and unnecessary. For instance, Lor, Ryo, Dancer, Dani, and others fought over the songs that Dani had put together. I thought it was funny at first but then it got dragged on and on. I also didn't really like the scene where Ryo kept slamming Dani into the column. I found it very uncomfortable at that time. I have to admit the scene after that definitely made it up. All right, I'm going to change the stars for Iced. I'm going to give it a 3 now. The more I thought about the book, I realized it deserves better than a 2.

I see your point. I felt similar in that the book is like a roller coaster ride with your emotions. I also HATED that scene. I have softened up to Ryo soooo much since I first read Iced. I don't think what he did was right, of course, but he is Ryodan one of the 9 and he isn't going to let some kid girl mess with his power.
So true, true. I think maybe Ryo tried to toughen Dani up, get her ready for battles and all that. Anyway, I am glad I found you guys! Now I can talk to you about Burned. I am looking forward to discussing it with you all!

Love all of you guys' predictions and theories! For me, I would really love a scene where Jo confronts Dani about her relationship with Ryodan, and Dani goes all territorial over him. Far-fetched, I know, because it's too early, but how I want to see Jo crash and burn (sorry that was mean!)On the subject of Ryodan abusing Dani, I stand by my conviction that he only use physical force on Dani as a last resort, and, like Samantha said, to show everyone in the club that he Can control her. He's king, and kings can't be challenged publicly, as Lor has said. But I do believe he would challenge her verbally to keep her on her toes, and to help her get better at staying alive, since she's too cocky for her own good.
When I read that part I got the impression that he was angry with her for more things then just the killing part? He was mad at her for a number of things , her being in feary with Christian, him not being able to trac her there. And I had this feeling of him?Feeling like a ass about his reaction to her .Him loosing his cool about something! Jo even mentions that he was way freaks out when he did not fined her?and Jo implied that the club was out of control for the time dat Ryodan was looking for Dani.
He freaked out because she is a weapon for him. There is a reason he needs her. We don't know yet. there were only two reasons he couldn't track her. One, she is in faery. Two, she is dead. So he lost it.
Yeah, I agree. I think right now, Ryo wants to keep her alive because he sees her as an investment. He doesn't see her as a mate, yet. And you are right Inanda. To make Ryo lose his cool is something rare. And he was all over the place when he couldn't find Dani! I love these two so much.
I have been wondering will Ryodan cash in with R'jan in Burned. That is coming back into play.
That would be very interesting indeed.

Do you think he will use that favor to ask R'jan for whatever potion that made Mac immortal, to turn Dani immortal?
Is Mac immortal or just harder to die? I don't think she is immortal. I was thinking more on the line of saving her or even needing some serious information. He is going to make sure it is important.
Don't you guys think that maybe the whole 'one day you'll mortgage your soul for someone' thing might be linked to the price for immortality? Maybe he already knows how to turn Dani immortal. But yeah it'll be really interesting if he cashes on the favor.

Yeah, you're right. I do wonder when Dani will end up mortgaging her soul though. That's some hardcore foreshadowing. Inanda I feel like you're on the right track with KMM wanting to set Dani up as light and Mac up as dark. Maybe the final battle so to speak will be Dani vs Mac. I mean all this talk of pitting them against each other might be foretelling a greater fight down the road.
Fresiako I came to that conclusion with a lot off the stuff KMM said during all the interviews held with her over the last 2 years! She said that she is all for the changing of her characters.The way thy grow and transform. She said Mac know love but she had no strength,Dani is strong but she knows no love. The most favorite thing she said in one of her interviews is that Ryodan will eclipse Barron's and that she is writhing a story for Dani and Ryodan that will out Shane Mac and Barron's by a long mile!!!! She even challenge us and said the gauntlet is flung!!!
I really hope so. Hopefully this merging of Dani's story with Mac's hasn't changed what KMM originally wanted to do. I mean she did say she had to condense Dani's story. But I hope that Dani becomes more important than Mac. Dani totally owns Mac.
Just remember there is very Big! Mac and Barron's fans out there. Don't let them hear that. Ha ha he he but yes Dani in her own words is the shit!!!

This is true. Lol, Dani and Ryo fans are more like a hardcore cult. Mac and Barron fan's love game is overpoweringly strong though.

Ugh, I don't like where KMM is taking Dani. And i bet the Barrons betrayal is just another miscommunication from JZB.
The turning on each other worries me. They are suppose to get over the other stuff. Why would they be enemies? I can only think that she felt threatened somehow. Maybe.
Haha, each review is giving me a worse and worse feeling. I'm like whatever, i don't care anymore. But I will remind you that i predicted a hell of a cliffhanger in Burned and that's why KMM has assured us the next release in October 2015. Burned is either going to be great or I'm through with the Fever world.
Dani feeling threatened? If she's turned against Mac, then whose side is she fighting for?
Haha Winnie, I'm feeling a little right you now as well. Is there any hopes for us Dani fans anymore.
