Yea seems like it's a lot easier loving Barrons then to stop loving him because his character took a change for the worst, while Ryodan just gets more loveable. Still wonder though why he so much more open, and Barrons seems like he has a stick up his butt sometimes. Like loving words and gentle caresses are both awe and disgusting to him. While Ryodan even cuddled with Jo. What's up with that? Maybe because he watched his son suffer for thousands of years had something to do with his attitude.

Lol, seems like Barrons is emotionally constipated and seems to have loved in his past and been burned. Barrons doesn't seem to enjoy the whole immortality/ being alive thing, as his main mission for a long time was to kill his son. (as his son was all forever fucked up)
I don't think he's led a particularly happy life because of it. Whereas Ryodan has no such emotional baggage and instead seems to truly cherish being alive (just like Dani) and he enjoys immortality. I think he's just been bored for a very long time, and Dani is the first thing that's fascinated him in ages. Ryodan, also seems more open to new experiences like the whole love thing. So that'd explain his affection to women lol.

Iced had me confused and I thought that the whole "boss" thing Lor was calling Ryodan kind of gave the idea that it was Ryodan that was the real leader.
And just another comment about the teaser KMM put out yesterday:I think that the Dani /Ryodan relationship will be a love/hate relationship until the end. Funny that it's a bit turn-on. Hahah.. I'm so shameful.
Wouldn't it be great that the tension between Dani and Ryodan got so heavy that Ryodan just gave up to it and talked about the elephant in the room: either kiss me or kill me. Decide what you want, and if you can't I will make the decision for you.

In that he's got his own thing going on, and he doesn't seem as tightly involved in the other 8's (nines?) lives.
Whereas I think of Ryodan as the acting Alpha, in that he's sort of more the nine's leader and they are more loyal to him. Hence why they call him the boss. xD

Yeah, I want their tension to keep building until it reaches boiling point lol. And then watch him as he goes apeshit over Dani. :)
I want some tension too. I really liked Ryodan for his sense of humor and how it played off of Dani's. If they are the HEA- I want Ryodan and Dani having an equal partnership. I don't think Barrons and Mac really do- that's my biggest gripe with them. Barrons and his boundaries? Take me or leave it Ms. Lane. The reality is BArrons did not want Mac the way she was, he molded her into something he thought he could be happy, something more like him. Yet, Mac cannot even ask the dude about anything without getting the dismissal "Head nod" for any pertinent info. Guess what Barrons? Women get to ask questions and they get answered once in awhile, oh and we got the right to vote a few years back, yeah?? really? deal with it.

Yeah I think that Dani and Ryo will have a much more equal relationship. (Which is one of my favourite things about them.)
Even in Iced, With Dani only being 14. I feel Dani could go toe to toe with Ryo in ways that Mac and Barrons never really did. I like that it seems that Dani has enough respect for herself that she'd never enter into a relationship with someone who doesn't give their 100%. She'd never stand for any of this "boundaries" bullshit. Lol, if they're are any boundaries in the Ryo/Dani relationship. I think that Dani will be the one putting them there. And Ryo will be the one getting her to be more open. xD

Oh, Fresiako, I love that. I also think that Ryodan will be a tad softer than Barrons. I really like Barrons, so no hate there.
Some of you mentioned grinding (cough- looking at you Melissa T) between Ryodan and Dani, and that made me think of Mac and Barrons "first" kiss.

Yeah, exactly. Haha, I think in many ways Dani is similar to Barrons. I mean she's the one with all the emotional baggage. And they're both larger than life type characters.
I mean there's a reason Ryodan said she'd have to fight Barrons for the title of Alpha and Omega. LOL. xD

I think that is the main reason they don't want anyone to know what they are. Look what happened to Barrons' son, they can't handle the possibility of something like that happening to one of them. Eternal torture that can never be escaped because they can never die!

We assume she will have to fight Barrons for the title. He never said it directly.

He was supposedly in Dublin looking at going to Trinity College for his graduate degree. Who knows if that is true or not because who really knows for sure if Dancer is really human.

I got the feeling Dancer moved around a lot with his parents and Australia is just like the last place they lived. Idk whyI totally agree about Dani being a lot like Barrons, like even the things she says/thinks sound like him. "you are what you are, deal with it or change"

And June those are my feelings exactly about Mac/Barrons, I couldn't have said it better myself! Ryodan treats 14 year old Dani more equally than Barrons ever seemed to treat Mac.
Like when he asks for her version of what happened the first time they saw the HFK after hearing Lor's. I loved that

Dani is a lot more forthcoming than Mac, too. Mac guards her every thought where as Dani tends to say whatever she is thinking.
New teaser on facebook sounds like the men are preparing for War!! Drustan is there as well!! This is going to be amazing!! I am glad that I am sticking to the official teasers otherwise I will not make it.

Exactly because it is Barrons ,Ryodan,Fade and Drustan!! I think it might be Dageus he and Drustan is usually together? I don't know if you girls know the Highlander series? But yes it might be the rest of them.
Haven't read the Highlander series. But I didn't know they were still around, I figured after the UK took the queen they packed up their families from Chesters and went home. What would bring them back?

You read about the nine in that series? Or do they guest star? Make a brief appearance?
I don't see how Sidhe-seers stand a chance, they aren't that kick butt unless compared to normal humans, although even that ones iffy since I think Jayne and his men might be able to take them on. And they haven't really done anything significant, I mean throughout the whole series what have they really done that made a difference? What's their part in it all, except for watching over Cruce, which we know isn't going to last since quite a few of the girls can easily be swayed by his gorgeous powerfulness.
No but there are a few places that they mention a group of ancient ones! When I started reading fever I made the connection!

Yea that seems kind of like a stupid question. I mean in the times and world they're living in what's normal? Is normal a month ago, few months ago, year? Especially to the band of guys she's talking to whose variations of normal are quite different.

That should be easily eliminated by the POV's we know we'll get in the book. There are like 8 of them right? It's not Barrons, Ryodan, Lor, Christian, Jada, UK, so that leaves Mac and Dani, and it doesn't sound like Dani.

I think that was more embellishment of wording. I wouldn't take it that seriously lol. She can't force people to stop loving Barrons.
