Also I wonder what those Skeletal Unseelie that were following Mac at Chester's is all about. Apparently they've been following her around for awhile.

I wonder what's those things that are following Mac. That is spooky.

what if the things following Mac are somehow unseelie spirits coming back from the dead to haunt her? or some unseelie species that are drawn to the part of the unseelie king/sidhe sa duh (don't remember how to spell that!)? We will most likely find out in 17 days!!!! ahhhhhh :)

Here's a scene from Shadowfever from the kings POV of the old queen (the one he killed?);
Once the king had held the Seelie Queen above all others, but somewhere down the eons, things had changed. He had puzzled over it for thousands of years, studying her, challenging her with subtle tests, in an effort to divine if the problem lay within her or within him.
He was comforted on the day he realized it was through no fault of theirs but that the two who were the eternal glue of their race were coming apart because she was Stasis and he was Change. It was their nature. The oddity was how long they had remained together.
He could not have prevented his evolution any more than she could have prevented her stagnation. All that the queen was at that very moment was all she would ever be.
Ironically, the mother of their race—she who wielded the Song of Making, she who could enact the mightiest acts of all creation—was no Creator. She was power without wonder, satisfaction without joy. What was existence without wonder, without joy? Meaningless. Empty.
So wouldn't he feel this way about Aiobheal too, sooner or later? Because that is just who the seelie queen is, her make up.
The king goes on to say he wanted the elixir of life for his concubine, but he wanted more, he wanted to make her his equal in everyway. How is that possible unless she become the Seelie queen? Or has the book and his vast knowledge?

Nope. She thinks it is over. He never said that. She is still under contract. Watch.

Men boasting. LOL.

Men boasting. LOL."
Lol. When was this? Am I missing something?

Gotta bask in all that testosterone haha.

LOL. She has been fighting cages for so long that she can't handle being bound to anyone. That is why I said it would be the ultimate kicker. She wants to be there.

Hey what do you think is up with Lor? I mean we had that lusty sex scene from his POV and the whole calling that woman master, thinking she was human when she was actually fae (Unseelie princess) and apparently in doing that she owned him? But then we have that snippet from him about spending weeks in bed with someone, typing her up which he knows he shouldn't be doing, and she shouldn't be letting him do it, and how he was going to spend weeks in bed with the woman until she realized he was the best? Or something like that.

So I wonder if Mac is turning into something or not. I mean V'lane wanted the book for the kings magic, the princesses and last queen/concubine dead so he could collect their magic, and be the most powerful and also the first patriarch. But if Mac is a princesses and already has the kings knowledge in her, she'd be in the same spot as him. So if Cruce gets out he'd have to kill the queen (not easy and impossible while she's reunited with the king), and kill Mac.
But if the King lets the Seelie queen go back to her court, the seelie will join behind her, and with the king at her side should they be able to fix all? I'm sure his unseelie would listen to him.
I'm guessing in Burned the fae are fighting with the nine? I don't know why, there isn't much left of earth apparently.

You could be onto something. The 2nd snippet could have been the first thing that actually happens. LOL. I like that thought.

The unseelie and seelie going up against the nine, when the nine have been feeding their dark brothers, and now something's going on with Lor. Also it sounds like Mac and Dani haven't fixed things, though Mac seeks her out at the end of Iced, something must of happened to make them enemies still. Or that part of the description is left over from the previous book and they work it out at the beginning of Burned.

Oh. Ahaha. I vaguely remember now! Man, I really want Dani to go out with Dancer, just so we can witness more of jealous Ryodan and his cattiness. XD

Yeah .. I'm also waiting for ryodan's jealousy n cattiness. But I'm also more obsessed with finding out how barons betrays mac(blurb - burned)

I dunno, this whole betrayal thing seems sort of like a way to cause unnecessary relationship angst. So that Mac and Barron fans don't get bored. I mean it's Barrons and Mac, there's no way they'll permanently severe their relationship. At most they'll be separated for a book and then get back together in the final book.
