In this book, the protagonist is a young guy who I believe is in college or maybe in high school. He discovers he has powers but his dad knows and his dad works for a secret organization or something like that , our protagonist has a girlfriend , somewhere along the plot he somehow goes back in time to stop himself from meeting her in order to save her. I’m not 100% sure if my description is accurate but I read the book around 2016-17.
