DNF p. 76. Too painful. I recommend something out of the Listopia I created instead. To oversimplify, it might have been ok that Margaret married John, but to have children together when they both know that he's so unstable is tantamount to child abuse and I do not read on that subject.
I finished the book and that should count. This is a example of why I mostly read Science Fiction and Adventure. The authors did a good job of changing the voice between character chapters. But this is a pretty dark tale.
