Thank you! I was thinking her cousin’s mom could be Queen Arwen’s sister if that’s okay?No worries! Take as much time as you need! I think it’s my turn to reply to some of our rps too.
Absolutely! <3 I love the sound of this already!
Yes it is but please take your time as well, there is absolutely no rush! <3

Thanks, I'm so glad you like it! How close would you want Eilidh and her cousin (Andromache) to be?Will do! :)
That depends on Andromache's personality. :) What is she like?
Also, I sent you a PM just now. <3

Andromache is very mild-mannered, quiet, and sensible, but she is also very sweet and personable. Sometimes she can be a little naive since she is young for one of the fae and came of age not too long ago, and she is a little bit of a hopeless romantic and can't help but sympathize with others even when they might not be very deserving of of it. She has several siblings (both older and younger than her), and she was raised to have all the poise, discipline, and grace expected of someone related to the royal family. Her family owed a wealthy, noble fae a favor, and so this fae chose her to be his bride and married her as soon as she reached 100 years old. Sadly, her husband disappeared a little over a year after they were married, and no trace of him has been found since. Andromache has become a little more mellow since that happened, but after the appropriate period of secluding herself and mourning was passed, she has had to force herself to show a cheerful countenance and act her old self again. She is still a very compassionate person and remains sweet and gentle. Almost more than anything she wants to become a mother, but because she refuses to marry again right now or even entertain the notion of taking a lover, she contents herself with doting on others' children. Awesome! I just sent you a message back :)
This is her: (view spoiler)By the way, what would her title be? Would she keep a title corresponding to her husband's or something different? I don't know what her title would have been before she married. Would she be considered a princess because of her relation to the royal family or a lady?

Her mother, as Arwen's sister, would be Princess. Andromache would have been Lady before marriage and have taken the title equivalent to her husband's upon marriage, which she would have kept as a courtesy title even after his death. Her title will change again only if she marries again. If you tell me exactly who her husband was I can give you the appropriate titles. :) I love the names you've selected, by the way!
From the sound of her, I believe that she and Eilidh would be rather close! Eilidh wouldn't confide any of her worries in Andromache, but she would allow Andromache to confide any worries she had in her. Eilidh might act as sort of a guide/big sister type figure to Andromache, if you like?

Andromache's husband (Eitan) was a part of the nobility, among the highest ranking. Thank you! :)
Yeah, that sounds good. Andra will like that a lot!
Were his parents, or was he, a minor king? Elfame has a feudal system where there are 'minor' monarchs that swear loyalty to either the Unseelie or Seelie monarch, depending on which court they're a part of. In this case it would be the Seelie monarch since I'm guessing he was Seelie? If he was a minor king, she would be Queen Andromache and she would be responsible now for ruling over his small piece of land, unless of course she felt herself incapable of doing so, in which case she could appoint someone else to rule in her stead (a regent) but she would still be Queen. Her formal/full title would be Dowager Queen now, though when she was married it would have been Queen Consort.
If it was his parents that were king and queen of a minor part of the seelie territory, her husband would have been a Prince and she as his wife would have been a Princess.
Just below that, you have High Nobles. If her husband was a high noble, his full title would have been something like 'His Most Noble Lord.' Rather than just being 'lord' the high nobles have 'the' preceding their titles 'The Lord Eitan.' So if her husband was a high noble she would have been 'The Lady Andromache,' with a full title of 'Her Most Noble Lady Andromache'
Any nobility below that doesn't seem like it would be fitting for them as you said he was a very high noble.
I think I'm going to love Eilidh/Andra's interactions! <3 Also, is Andra still in mourning for her husband? White is the traditional colour of mourning for the seelie fae.

I kind of like the idea of him being a minor king and leaving Andra as Dowager Queen. I wanted some sort of pressure on her to marry again and bear children, and I was originally going to have her family try to persuade her but this is better. And that makes things easier for me in working out a few kinks in her backstory if Eitan was a minor king too. Me too! Andra keeps her mourning secret since it's been about 6 years since he disappeared, so she's not officially still in mourning. Only a couple of her most trusted friends know how sorrowful she still feels, and she keeps a lot of her true feelings hidden from her parents and siblings. I don't think Andra would ever outright confess how miserable she is to Eilidh directly, but since they're so close, I'm sure Eilidh would be able to gather from their conversations and stuff how Andra is really feeling as she tends to let her guard down around her cousin.
Alright, awesome! :) So that means she would live in the territory where he would have ruled, unless of course you choose for her to have appointed a regent (if she appoints a regent to rule in her stead she still gets to keep the title of Dowager Queen as a courtesy). You can make up the name of the minor territory he ruled and the name of the court he ruled over. Then once she's approved, you'll be able to make a folder for that territory. I'll talk you through that more when she's approved but of course she will be. <3 What that means then is that people will actually be able to make characters that live in that court and who were her late husband's subjects.
Ah, yes, the traditional mourning period for a wife to mourn a husband in Elfame is two years so she would be out of official mourning by now. And you're right, EIlidh would definitely be able to guess Andra's true feelings as she is very perceptive. :)

I'm actually making two wards of Andromache's. Perhaps Eilidh would know them also? They're siblings, Asa and Evangeline. They're actually in the workshop. I mean, I know how kind Eilidh is so maybe she talks to them occasionally?

Of course Eilidh could know them! :) I'll definitely take a look at them and I would love for Eilidh to have any sort of relationship with them! Also, hi, how are you? :D

I feel like Evangeline and Eilidh might especially get along, since they have similar temperaments. I'm doing pretty good. I'm really glad you're back on gr!! :D
Okay, that sounds good! I think I'll have her keep ruling in her husband's place, but of course she'll have advisors and such to help her.Awesome. I'm really looking forward to her and Eilidh being close friends :)
@Crabby: Oooh yay! :) And so am I! I missed you all so much! ::virtual hug because hugging is now illegal::
@Snail: Do you think she would ever seek Ellowyn's counsel?
@Snail: Do you think she would ever seek Ellowyn's counsel?
@Angel, yes I think she would a few times. She's kept on most of her husband's advisors and trusted friends, but since they're mostly men, I think she would have asked Ellowyn's advice a few times, especially right after her husband disappeared.
I get the feeling that Elly adores her and thinks she's a total sweetheart and would do anything for her if not for her sake then for EIlidh's.
Aw, Ellowyn is such a kind soul! Andromache will be grateful to have someone she can turn to for counsel when she needs it.
I think only mods have the capability to create folders, so would you mind making a folder for Reiltin (land of the Court of Stars) when you have the time? <3
Hey! @Angel, I think only mods can make folders, so if you have the time, could you please make a folder for Reiltin (land of the Court of Stars)? Thank you! :)
I've been busy. I've been preparing to publish a book. And have been doing a lot of reading and writing. How have you been?
I literally just got back on Goodreads after another of my ridiculously long illness-induced absences. I'm trying to get back into roleplaying. I'm also working on a novel set in Elfame so that's fun! :D
@therabidsnail : Hey! so I finished Lysandra but realized half way through making her that her name would be Amara instead lol. sorry if it inconveniences you!
The lockdowns aren't in effect much here anymore, so that's pretty good. Sorry about the sudden influx of characters today! I've had a lot of inspiration lately, but I'm back to hammering out rp replies now :)
We can start whenever you'd like. Casimir tends to be found in the Outdoor Market, Silver Serpent, Wychwood, Red Shoes,or Willow Park most often. He doesn't usually visit Tenebris Castle unless summoned for some reason or other.

I will try and get some replies out to you as soon as possible! Please bear with me as I'm currently not feeling very well but I fully intend to reply to everything I haven't. <3
