I really have been ill with this headache. It's not gone now but I can't neglect my roleplays anymore so here I am! I hope none of you missed me too much. :D
Aw, I really hope you feel better soon. Headaches can be really awful. I’m also back on gr now, so maybe that could revive things up a bit!

Mine actually never go away. I have a build up of fluid around the brain which causes severe, constant, incurable headaches. (IIH -- Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension). Haha, sorry for the info dump.
I’ve actually heard of that before. I had headache problems when I was a kid, so I heard doctors mention a couple things. I only ended up having a Chiari malformation (where the cerebellum puts pressure on the brain stem) that rarely bugs me now. Anyway, that seems like it must be really hard to tolerate :( It definitely seems infinitely worse than having the occasional headache...

Okay she might know some of my characters then. I have members of the Unseelie royal family (Kolfinna, Asphodel, and Ianira). I also have some renowned nobility: Aeryn and Aedelheide Veora, who are siblings and war heroes from before the treaty was signed. I don’t know if your princess would know any Seelie nobility or not, but I’ve got Lord Bravewolf and Lady de Lancret. I have a couple new characters too that I’m not quite sure what I’m doing with, but one of them is a mercenary/sword for hire in the Unseelie Court named Casimir. Maybe he could have worked for your princess as protection in the past or maybe in the future? Idk just throwing out ideas haha.

I have this Unseelie elf/siren too named Nikolae who’s pretty close to completion. He’s a smuggler and procures rare objects and stuff for people and sells things on the black market. So if your princess ever needs anything hard to come by, I’ve got him too. Or he possibly could have stolen something from her/her family and sold it to someone else? Just another random idea haha.
That’s fine haha. I’m going to try to finish her soon. Ooh, that would be good because I kinda want her to be part of some “inner court” thing with her brothers, and she’d need spies and stuff haha
Sorry for not posting yesterday! Things got busy cleaning the house up after Christmas and visiting my grandparents. His basics are in the spoiler below, and I've outlined his personality and such elsewhere. I just need to put it all together in one place and fix it up so it reads smoother and stuff oof. I would have a lot more progress if I hadn't had this burst of inspiration for another new character today yikes. (view spoiler)
Nikolae has kind of an aversion to royalty and nobility, so I don't think he'd willingly spy for her. It's not really his line of work, and he has a responsibility to devote most of his time to the family smuggling enterprises. Using his downtime to spy for a breed of people he's not thrilled about is one of the last things he'd do. At least willingly, anyway. However, Casimir will do just about anything. For the right price, of course. While Casimir has his own problems with the elites, he has no problem working for them as long as he's fairly compensated.
that's totally fine haha. I had to work all day yesterday so I wouldn't have been able to answer anyways. he sounds great haha. I think she'd compensate him very well too, since shes filthy rich lol

Awesome. Did you have any circumstances under which they met in mind? I figure he was hired by her or her family, but I don't know if you had a specific idea why? If it was sometime before the treaty, extra security for certain things like traveling, major events and such is probably a fairly common occurrence. Of course even after the treaty the marriage hasn't happened yet, so not everything is sealed and set in stone. Danger still abounds. Besides protection detail, he can spy, steal information, and assassinate people. If there's anyone your princess or her family needs assassinated, he's even better at killing people cleanly than he is at bodyguard duty.
I think she'd have hired him when she was younger- perhaps little after her husband was murdered? maybe so that he'd find and kill those who killed him lol

um... shes 140 now, so maybe... 100? idk lol. the whole slow aging process startles me lol
Yeah, same. It's kinda disconcerting, and everyone seems to age their fae a little differently. I think 100 is when the fae come of age and the earliest they can legally be married. I'll have to go back and double check that though.
then I guess it would be a good age lol. Since she'd be a little too early in her marriage when her husband is killed, so she wouldn't have any children.

Nice lol.Lovely, I dislike setting up romantic relationships in stone without rp first either. If they get along and it feels like they could go somewhere, I had some interesting ideas/thoughts that might be fun for rp and stuff.

Exactly.So, if your princess hired Casimir to murder her husband's killers, he always asks what proof of death (if any) his employers want. Would she want their heads, innards, a newspaper article, etc.?

@Evelin, I was thinking they might have started having feelings for each other. Since Casimir moves around a lot due to his occupation, it makes relationships a bit difficult haha. Plus, he takes his time with romantic stuff and isn't one to jump into things like that without thinking it all through first a while.
Okay, then I won’t put it into her biography because I kinda want her to still be in pain from her husbands death lol.
