"Then why were you giggling, hmm?" Alex said and he turned his head slightly to look at her with an faint smile as he gently let her down on her feet and turned to look at her

"I wasn't giggling." She said. She smiled softly and looked at him. "It was cries for help." She batted her eyes up at him.
"Yea right." Alex said with an light laugh and he opened the freezer then closed it, an bag of frozen meat in his hand and he put the meat on an clean plate before he put it in the microwave and set it to defrost before starting it and turning around to look at her with an faint smile
"It was." She retorted smiling some. She looked up at him with a big smile. She looked at his neck. "Alex I'm thirsty I haven't been drinking much as I'm suppose to be."
Alex laughed a little and he said "Okay." as he stood in front of her then he took out an small knife from his pocket and cut his wrist so that blood started coming out and he held out his wrist to her
She looked at his wrist. "I don't like taking from the wrist." She whispered. "I always take it from the neck." She said looking at him. Ruby hope she didn't sound rude.
Alex moved his arm back to his side as his skin healed and he tilted his head slightly so she would be able to bite him with ease
She smiled a little bit. Ruby walked over to him and bit his neck slowly and started to drain his blood.
Alex stood there as she bit his neck though he didn't show no signs of pain or discomfort. He had been bitten by her many times that it didn't hurt him anymore.
Ruby smiled and backed away. "All done." She said with a smile looking at him.
Alex straightened his neck and the two holes in his neck had already started to disappear as he gave her an slight smile and gently cupped her chin
Ruby smiled at him. She didn't move away from him. "Thank you she whispered. "Go get your food." She whispered.
Alex gently stroked her jaw line with his thumb before he let go off her cheek and walked to the microwave, taking out the plate of meat and closing the microwave door and put the plate on the island that was in the kitchen
Ruby looked up at him and smiled. "What now." She asked as she sit on the top of the island looking at him.
Alex thought about what to do next as he finished the plate of meat in an few seconds and wiped his mouth clean with an napkin before throwing it in the trash and putting the plate in the sink as he said "We can... Stay here and relax for a few minutes?"
Ruby bit her lip a little bit looking up at him and nodded her head. She smiled some. "Alex you don't like controlling my life do you?" she asked. She looked at him then down some. "I understand I really do." She whispered.
"Babe." Alex said and he gently rose her chin so she was looking at him. "Whatever you want me to do that you'll think will help you, I will do it."
"I know you don't like controlling my life." She whispered. "I know you don't" She looked at him. "I don't know how to be me again." She whispered. She moved a little closer to him closing the gap.
Alex sighed and he said "Your right, I don't like controlling your life but when we were upstairs and I had you on my back with you giggling and laughing, it was like you were the same girl you use to be again so I know that you can be her." as he gently stroked her jawline with his thumb and looked at her with an faint smile
She smiled a little looking at him. "Maybe you could help me be able to control my own life again." She asked softly. "Those weren't giggles they were cries for help." She said smiling at him playfully. "It was pure torture."
Alex laughed slightly then he said "Oh, it was?" before he picked her up and put her so she was on his back again as he walked out of the kitchen
"Let me down." She hissed a little bit snapping back. Trying to sound angry. Ruby failed again as giggles escaped from her mouth. She couldn't help but laugh. She was smiling some. "I'm serious." she said as she was laughing.
"Doesn't sound like your serious." Alex said with an light chuckle as he walked into the living room but he put her down on her feet in front of him with an small smile
Ruby looked up at him. "I am serious." She said with a great big smile. She let another laugh again out. She pecked his cheek a little bit. Her kiss was cold and unviting but she was trying.
"Yea, okay." Alex said and he laughed again a little then he smiled slightly at her and softly kissed her forehead
She blushed lightly some. "I was." She said smiling. "Alex can you hold me now." She asked softly looking at him. She want to feel safe in his arms.
Alex chuckled slightly and he wrapped his arms around her, holding her gently against him
Ruby snuggled into him some. "I missed you so much." She whispered. "What are we going to do now?" She asked.
Alex smiled some and he thought of what to do next then he shrugged and said "I'm comfortable enough with holding you."
Ruby nodded her head some. "Okay" she whispered softly. "I wish we could kiss but it hurts you everytime I kiss you" She whispered
"It's makes me a little sad but it doesn't hurt me." Alex said and he looked at her with an giant smile as he brushed some loose strands of hair behind her ear
"I know thats why I need to be me." Ruby looked at him. "I hate making you sad." She whispered. "I want to be the girl I was and I know I keep saying it feels like I'm a stranger in my own body."
Alex looked back at her and he said "It's okay babe." as he softly kissed her then pulled back a little with an faint smile
She looked at him slowly and nodded her head. "Okay." She whispered softly. Ruby felt like a bad person. "Would you be mad if I say I don't try to use emotion."She asked.
Alex hesitated then he shook his head and said "No." as he looked at her
"Well I don't, but I want too." She whispered.
"If you want to do something then you got to try." Alex said and he gently stroked her cheek with his thumb, looking at her with an faint smile
"Your upset that I don't try aren't you? I was taught not to." She whispered looking down. "I'm an awful person who can't feel or anything." Ruby whispered softly.
"I'm not upset babe and no your not an awful person. Like I said if you want something then you got to try." Alex said and he softly kissed the tip of her nose
Ruby nodded her head head. "I know." She whispered. "I need help though to get back on feet." She paused. "Your the only one I trust to do that."
"Thank you... I think." Alex said and he chuckled slightly then have her an small smile
Ruby looked at him. "You think?!" She asked smiling at him softly. She moved herself on his lap and snuggled on him. "How about now?" She asked whispering in his ear.
"Sorry. I meant thank you." Alex said with an slight smile back when she got on his lap closer to him and he shivered slightly when she whispered in his ear and he nodded slightly then said "Okay."
"Thats better." Ruby said. She laid her head on his chest. "Alex I missed you." She whispered softly. "Soon everything will be better." She paused. "Last night you know I told you it was a yes right?"
"I missed you too." Alex said and he softly kissed the top of her head then he nodded and murmured "Yes, I know." and he smiled slightly
Ruby smiled some. "Okay do you know what I said yes too because I do." She whispered softly. "Alex do you think my sire had something to do with your accident?" She asked.
"To my proposal I believe." Alex said and he smiled a little more then he sighed slightly in her hair and said "I don't know. Maybe."
"Well you believe?" She asked. She smiled playfully. "Why do you keep doubting yourself." She said smacking him playfully.
Alex chuckled a little and he shrugged as he said "I don't know. It's just me I guess." as he moved his head and looked at her with an small smile
Ruby looked up at him. "Good think I like you then." She said softly. She kissed him softly on the lips. She was trying so hard to bring emotion in the kiss. She didn't know if she was failing at it or not.
