Ahhh I hope i'm not too late posting this. It just slipped my mind with being out of town for Thanksgiving. Anyways, this book was terrible. I don't know why it has such a high GR rating...416 pages of "who cares" type material. A woman and her four year old son are meeting her fiancé at a cabin in the woods. This remote town is somehow connected to a murderer who killed women eight years ago in Seattle? I don't know...the book didn't really make a lot of sense, but more importantly, it was boring. The author introduced some strange characters and situations and then completely forgot about them and never addressed them again. For instance, the county sheriff asked the woman for a coke and then stole her underwear. After he left, she noticed the underwear missing and the coke can was sitting on the porch completely full. You would think this detail would have something to do with the plot right? Actually no, it was never mentioned again. I think Kevin O'Brien forgot. I only gave this book one star because that was all it deserved.

This book was a funny and charming story with a bright but quirky herione. I find pleasure in reading regency romances. I love to curl up on my bed and indulge in them on rainy and stormy days. I has a hard time believing her name was really Iphginia. This book was such an entertating read and this is one of my favorite books by this author

I really, really enjoyed this book. There were some things that truly made me angry and for a moment I thought about giving up on it. I couldn't stand the way that the Warden's treated Layla. And Zayne...I wanted to punch him in his perfect face sometimes, but I understood him and the relationship that he and Layla had.
Roth...holy cow. Roth is exactly what I would expect from one of Jennifer L Armentrout's heroes. He's sexy, sarcastic and you don't know what to expect from him. I cannot wait to continue the series, although with the way this one ended, I'm not sure if I should wait to read the next book until the final book comes out.
I think the use of gargoyles was extremely interesting and bold. You do not see gargoyles very often and when you do it's not usually as the tough warrior types. It gave a new dimension to the angels vs demons story line.

I really love what Sophie did with the story and the derection it took. Introducing new draki a few kissing scenes and some action scenes as well. This was an amazing sequuel loved it just as mush as the fisrt book. I was excited about this book because Firelight left us with a promising ending. I voted for Will and Jacinda all the way.

I'd probably give this book 3 1/2 stars...it wasn't quite a 4. It was nowhere near as good as the first book, which was disappointing, but looking at other ratings, it seems like many people shared my opinion about this one.
It was really the plot of this book that failed to hook me- Native Americans engaging in revenge murders, except a couple were actually insane and took it too far. It was just slightly boring, but not bad enough not to finish. As far as Lucas Davenport, the main character, I still like him but probably not as much as I did in the first book. It doesn't bother me that he is a womanizer, because I think he's pretty honest about that, but he just kept calling the female cop "chubby." As in, she's beautiful but overweight mentioned on every other page. I don't know why the author was so focused on it, but it was borderline offensive. Anyways, besides a few minor annoyances, it wasn't bad.

I was totally in lust with Ty during Loving Cara. I couldn’t wait to get to his book because I just knew he had a lot to offer. He was amazing with Cara and Jillian in the first book and I couldn’t wait to see how he was with Lauren, someone who I felt definitely needed to be swept off of her feet and away from the group she was hanging out with. Once again, Kristen Proby did not disappoint me. Ty was everything I had hoped for an more. He is an amazingly swoonworthy book boyfriend. The way he cares for and treats Lauren is something that all mean need to take note of and I’m not just talking about the way he is with her in the bedroom (or the pool or the kitchen or the shower), which is pretty freaking amazing as well.
I love the depth to which Kristen tells a story. I always feel so immersed into their world. I feel like I could be one of their friends, hanging out and just talking. I loved that there was a deep meaning to each of Ty’s tattoos and to each of Lauren’s. These two have had a lot of ups and downs in their lives and of course there were still a lot to go through in this book, but I absolutely loved every minute of their journey.
I really enjoyed the nod to the With Me in Seattle series that Kristen threw into this book. Hopefully, anyone who is reading this series and hasn’t read her With Me series will give it a shot. Kristen is at the top of my must read list and I cannot wait for each and every one of her books to come out. And to think it all started with a Kindle freebie. I look forward to more from Kristen, especially Zach and Jillian’s story. I’ve loved Jillian since the first book and I really, really want to know what the heck is going on between her and Zach. Is it January yet?

I don't really feel like writing a long review for this book...mostly bc I'm exhausted from staying up all night reading it, going to work, and then coming home and finishing it. That is my only complaint about any of the books in this series. Unfortunately, this is the last one, and I'm bummed because I have enjoyed these books soooo much. All 7 are insanely compulsive reads. Hopefully she's working on #8!

I think I was slightly less thrilled with this one than I was with the first one, but I still enjoyed it. I missed Vera though. She was what I really loved about the first book and I felt like she was missing from this one. And what we did see of her was not the Vera I loved.
Also, I get so annoyed when sex is used to end arguments. I feel like the issues never really get dealt with. There's sex, no more talking and then when they do talk it's just to apologize.
Overall though I did like it. I am really excited for Josh's story though.

Review:
This book was better than the last one but not as good as the first one. While the second book bored me, this one was a little too gruesome, with a serial killer who did some particularly nasty things. The character himself was terrifying but not completely believable...as a hardcore drug addict it was hard for me to get my head around his ability to commit completely flawless crimes. Lucas Davenport was depressed in this book, and that was just lame...he is not supposed to be depressed, he's supposed to be hardcore. Luckily, the murders brought some joy back into his life!

This is the third book in the Star Harbor series and it was the one I was the most anxious to get to because I really liked Cole Grayson in the first two. I figured if anyone was going to rev up this series it was going to be the sheriff. I liked Cole and his back story, but Theo is still my favorite Grayson brother. I really liked Julie, the town doctor and the girl that slapped Cole when they were kids. I liked them finding their way to each other, but it definitely all felt very Hallmark movieish to me. In fact, this entire book series feels like a Hallmark movie mini-series.
The overall drug issue is continued in this book and I felt like it was worked into the story pretty flawlessly. It was pretty obvious to me who the bad guy was, but I’m weird like that. I’m sure it’ll be a surprise to most readers. There’s a lot of tense moments in this book surrounding all of that and of course watching Cole be over-protective of Julie is pretty dang hot.
And once again we have a key and now we have three. I am really hoping for the big reveal on how these keys work in book 4. In fact, I have really high hopes that we’ll get to the bottom of the key/Lorelei mystery, the drug ring mystery and Val, the quiet DEA Agent Grayson brother. There’s a lot to be done still in this series and I hope that we also get some kind of happily ever after epilogue for each of the couples.

Review:This book follows similar timeline as Reaper's Legacy in the very beginning of the book but then follows it's own timeline. We follow star crossed lovers Em Hayes of Reapers MC and Liam "Hunter" of Devil Jacks. Each of them are aware of the stakes and risks of their relationship but that doesn't matter to either of them. Together they forge ahead inspite of what other's tell them. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Clare has a way with words it fells like you are drawn right into the Shadowhunter world. This book did not disappoint me and every thing happen at the pefeect pace. So much information,so many details, so many jaw dropping moments! I absoulutely loved all the relationships in this story.

I really enjoy these Underworld Detection Agency books. They are everything I love in my urban fantasy plus an over abundance of humor. Sophie is hilarious and awkward and I love it. I laugh out loud often when I read these books, but then I’m on the edge of my seat as Sophie tries to solve whatever paranormal mystery is happening at the time. Under a Spell was action packed and awesomely funny from beginning to end. There’s always a sense of danger, even when Sophie is making us laugh.
There’s really no movement on the relationship front in this book. Alex is pulling away. Will is in her face, but by the end of the book Sophie is still alone. I’ve always been team Alex and I’m hoping that in the next book things are figured out. But this series doesn’t really need a resolution there to be great. Sophie and her friends are fun and I can’t wait to read the next book. I think the next one might be the end of Sophie’s story, but I haven’t been able to confirm that. If it is, I’ll be sad, but I can’t wait to see how she goes out. I’m sure it’ll be with a bang and I’m betting we’ll finally get to see her pops.

Review:
I tried Jeffrey Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme series and just couldn't get into it. This is the first book in the Kathryn Dance series and has been sitting on my bookshelf for quite a long time. I enjoyed it more than Lincoln Rhyme, because the protagonist was more interesting to me. His novels are straight police procedurals which lack the horror and gory details of other thrillers, which is fine with me...it's a nice break. Kathryn Dance is a strong female lead with the ability to hold herself together and very little personal drama. This book was about a cult leader reminiscent of Charles Manson, so that already makes it interesting. It focuses on deception, with the criminal's ability to brainwash his followers and Dance's ability to interrogate and read body language. Although dry at times, it was readable and I enjoyed it.

I really liked this book. I found it to be an unusal storyline that was worth a read. This story made me smile and even laugh out loud a few times. I though that it was a healing story for both the hero and herione and the two characters were really good. This was the 3rd time i have read this book

One of the things I love the most about Jenn Bennett and this series is that she never quite gives you what you’re expecting. Every single book has surprised me and exceeded my expectations, which is not easy to do. Even though I received this book from Netgalley for review, I also pre-ordered this in Kindle format for myself because this is one of my all-time favorite urban fantasy series.
I wasn’t expecting to get anyone else’s point of view in this book other than Cady’s, but the book immediately opens up with us seeing things through Jupe’s eyes. Jupe stepped up big time in this book and was an even more crucial part of the story than normal which I thought was awesome. This book was an emotional roller coaster, with Lon and Cady dealing with the cliffhanger from book 3 and the changes in Cady’s powers. It was another nail biter, I had no idea where things were going, except I knew that there was always a chance for danger and the stakes were so much higher than normal.
I love Cady and Lon together and things in this book just solidified them for me as one of my all-time favorite couples in all books, not just urban fantasy. This was one of the most satisfying series enders I’ve ever read and I love the epilogue that we got. I’m still sad that this series is over, but I loved it and I wouldn’t want Jenn Bennett to change anything about it. The series is a must read and a must recommend to others. I can’t wait to read more by Jenn Bennett in the future and re-read this series from start to finish.

I was thinking y'all needed to start rolling smaller numbers too.

Another OK book with a predictable ending...maybe I read too many mysteries but this one was just so so. I guessed the killer in the beginning, because he was the only one who the author didn't portray as suspicious. I wish I could find another series as good as the D.D. Warren series by Lisa Gardner.

I almost didn't think I was going to be able to finish this one cause it was a bit slow. I liked the overall story, but wish things had progressed a little faster. Ethan and Dee made a very interesting couple and I liked what they brought out of each other. The rest of the characters were fun and a nice addition to the story.
