4.5--Vince "The Invincible" Stone--Stars!!!
Second chance romance. Childhood friends to lovers. MMA fighters.
Bring it!
Vinny and Liv met when they were in high school. Liv tutored the troubled Vinny. Vinny was larger than life. He spent more time in trouble than not. But Liv was drawn to him. Liv was full of innocence and good. Something Vinny didn't want to ruin. So he walked away from Liv and never looked back.
Seven years later and Vinny is an MMA fighter and Liv is an intern/writer for the Daily Sun Times. She's battling for a full position at the paper, her dream job. She's been handed a story that will throw Vinny back into her life.
Vinny can't believe Liv is back in his life. It's as if the last seven years never even existed. Vinny broke Liv's heart when he left. But he makes it known what he wants now. And what he wants is Liv.
Vinny had the perfect mix of alpha and sweet. He was demanding in what he wanted from Liv.
But at the same time, he had this sweet side that just made you swoon.
I loved Vinny and Liv together. I loved getting flashbacks in to their past and how they met and fell in love...in fact, a few more past scenes would have been nice.
Things are great for Vinny and Liv, until Liv gets asked to expose a story that could crush Vinny and everything he's believed about his past. This is make it or break it for Liv...if she breaks this story, she will land the job. But will it ruin Vinny in the process?
This cannot end good.
Bless Liv's heart she tries to protect Vinny. She doesn't want to hurt him by exposing the truth. Torn between the job she's always dreamed of and the man she's falling in love with more and more each day.
I could see how it was all going to play out and yet there was nothing I could do to stop it.
Every day that went by that Liv didn't tell Vinny I got more and more nervous.
Summer.....
I knew I wasn't going to like you.
The last 15% of the book I was glued to the story. Like with Worth the Fight this was pretty low angst.
And the ending....I absolutely LOVED the ending....what Liv did for Vinny!

4-4.5 I'll be Vinny's GIMP Stars
If you like sexy, dirty talking MMA fighters then this series is a must read. I really liked the first book, Worth the Fight, but Worth the Chance was even better in my opinion.
There's just something about Vince that grabs you from the first few pages. He's a manwhore, and he's not exactly lacking for GIMPS. That's Groupies I Must Pound if you're not familiar. He doesn't even have to do much, being a fairly well known MMA fighter women pretty much throw themselves at him.
But beneath the hardcore and sexy exterior, is the soul of a damaged man. Growing up the way that he has, with a druggie mother he's been taking care of for years, has solidified his belief that love just isn't for him. Permanence isn't a part of his world, and it may never be. But then a blast from his past changes everything.
Liv is a journalist on an internship, vying for her dream job. She may not be happy about the fluffy piece she's been handed to interview the local fighting celebrity, but she'll do it. The last thing she expects is for that man to be the boy that broke her heart when she was 16 years old.
But Vinny isn't the same boy he was 7 years ago, and when he sees Liv again he just knows he won't be able to watch her walk away.
I'm a sucker for the friends to lovers trope. Make that ca second chance romance as well, and I'm in pervy book heaven. I couldn't get enough.
Liv did irritate me with the way she treated Vinny at first. On the one hand, I understood why she acted the way that she did since he broke her heart all those years ago when he walked away. But on the other hand, her little snarky and jealous comments to him grated on me more than once.
Luckily by the second half of the book she more or less got her shit together. What ultimately made this book for me was Vinny. I loved the way he pursued her, and of course his sexy dirty mouth didn't hurt either.
The progression of their relationship was perfect. The author didn't rush to the I love yous, and really made you believe it.
Then there was Summer.
And that is all I'll say about that twat.
The ending was perfect. What Liv did for Vinny at the end, well it was so perfect. She completely redeemed herself in my eye with everything that she did to help him. It was beautiful.
This series just keeps getting and better and I can't wait until the next book, especially after getting a peak into the sexiness that is Jax in this one. Spring cannot come soon enough!

4 “The Invincible” Stars
Seven years ago Liv and Vince were friends in high-school. Well, sort of. She was the tutor and he was the person she was helping. They were completely opposites, Liv being a shy bookworm and Vince being the popular and sexy troublemaker. They ended up being friends and feeling… more. Until everything went wrong and they never see each other again.
Now, seven years after, not much has really changed. Liv is now a journalist and still shy. Vince is now a MMA fighter, still sexy, still a troublemaker and still a playboy. Life brings them together again when Liv has to do an article about him, but this time, Vince is not willing to let her go.
But Vince’s past (and present) still messes with him, and Liv has some secrets of her own that may put them in trouble after.
So when real life hits them, how much of a fight can they handle?
Rating: 4 Stars.
Storyline: Predictable inside its genre and you can see pretty easily what its going to happen, but I still enjoyed it. Sometimes knowing in advance how things will go doesn’t diminish its enjoyment. It was a sexy, steamy and romantic reading and I’m liking this series more and more. I can’t wait to read Jax’s book!
Writing Style: First person. Dual POV. Addictive writing, raw and emotional. Vi Keeland delivers a sexy romance like no one’s business!
Character Development: I loved Vince!! But you know how I love a sexy and broken playboy that redeems himself for the woman of his dreams. Liv was pretty good either. She (almost) didn’t annoy me and this is not a frequent thing. I loved to see more of Elle and Nico, they were so cute!
Steam: Hot.

And Liv decides to stay away from Vince to avoid to have her heart broken again but Vince thinks the opposite. Due to the her assignment, they become closer again and slowly their build their relationship.
"Trust me about one thing Liv...whatever is going on between us, it's going to happen, You can make it as difficult as you want, but we, Liv, are going to happen. Neither one of us can stop it"
"I'm going to bury myself so deep inside of you it'll leave you feeling hollow when I'm not with you"
"Looking for someone?"
"Yeah, my girlfriend. She's probably pissed at me for being an asshole. You seen her around?"
"I want to hear you moan my name when we have makeup sex"
The twist in this story is Vince's past and that is Liv's story.
How will Liv write the story without breaking his heart and how will Vince take that news?

I ABSOLUTELY♥LOVED Worth the Chance !! It was captivating, intriguing, sexy, and an over all delectable read!! I will admit, that there was one point where I thought I had lost all respect and wanted to murder Vinny but I'm glad that the altercation ended as soon as it began, *phew*
I'm now so so anxious for Jackson “Jax”'s story and this mysterious Lily, There is one mention about her from Vinny in WTC but that't it. Hmmm...

5 " Sexy Beast Invincible Stone" Stars

Vinny hasn't had the greatest up bringing with a crack head of a mother who he always had to pick up the pieces for..
"I want to promise you I'll slow down, take things slower, but I don't want to start things off on a lie, I'm not sure I can do slow around you, Liv."
This book definitely ticked all my boxes, hot fighter guy, hot fighter guy rides a motorbike, hot fighter guy with sizzling one liners eeekkkkk, this book was just HOT!!

A lighthearted, beautifully written, and at times a highly frustrating read, that once you pick up you will not be able to put down!!

4 Totally “Worth the Chance” Stars!!!
We met Vince aka Vinny in Worth the Fight as the troubled teenager that Nico took under his wing. But Vinny is all grown up now. And boy-o-boy is he grown up!! He is one hot, dirty talking, alpha MMA fighter!!!
A woman from his past catches his eye in the self-defense class he’s teaching, it’s been seven years but he would know Liv anywhere. Liv and Vinny have a history, they have known each other since high school, she was two years his junior and his tutor. They have something sweet between them but Vinny felt he wasn't good enough for her so he walks away breaking young Liv's heart. The spark between them is still there and once VInny sets his mind to getting Liv back, nothing is going to stand in his way, not even Liv.

Vinny....
I just love MMA fighters. They are rough and tough and sexy as hell! This was another great book by Vi Keeland.
Liv and Vinny have a history together. They have known each other since high school where she was his English tutor. They had a little something going on between them but Vinny knew he wasn't good enough for her so he walks away breaking Liv's heart.
Now, she is a journalist who is interning competing with another intern journalist for a position a a big paper. She is asked to do a story on a local fighter and trying to uncover a scandal by a local politician. Liv takes it not knowing she is going to run right into her past.
Vinny can't believe he is seeing Liv again. She has turned into a beautiful grown woman, just like he always knew she would. The spark between them is still there and once VInny sets his mind to getting Liv back, nothing is going to stand in his way, not even Liv.
“Trust me about one thing, Liv…whatever is going on between us, it’s going to happen. You can make it as difficult as you want, but we, Liv, are going to happen. Neither one of us can stop it.”

Vi has outdone herself this time! As much as I liked the first book (Worth the Fight) this one definitely surpassed my expectations and blew that one away. It was so much more intricate-the characters more complex, and the plot's seamlessly woven flashbacks to Liv and Vinny's high school days and dual POV. This isn't your simple bad boy loves good girl that reunite as adults story.
Vinny was a troubled teen who had a horribly neglectful, drug addicted mother. He was the quintessential bad boy who was always getting into trouble: fighting, womanizing, and getting bad grades. My heart went out to him seeing what he had to go through at home though and even though he was rough around the edges and hardened, I sympathized with him and wanted him to get his act together. Liv goes to the same school-she's kind of nerdy, wears glasses, is in all advanced classes, and for the most part just likes to keep to herself. She's always in her own head, re-writing tragic love stories with her own improved endings.
When Liv is asked to tutor him in english, she's overwhelmed-she's had a crush on him for years but would never have crossed paths with him otherwise. They are complete opposites all around. From opposite sides of the tracks, and complete opposites in personality. She's sweet, studious, and ambitious. He's angry, a troublemaker, and has no plans for the future past today. Despite all their differences, she can't help but feel completely attracted and pulled to him. She can see what's under the surface and wants to be there for him.
When they're together, she sees his intelligence, his humor, and his sweet side.
They grow a strong bond and he is very protective and gentle with her.
To him, she is unattainable-too good for the likes of him. He feels hopelessly inadequate. As much as he wants to give what they have a shot, he doesn't want to tarnish her or bring her down. He crushes her when he abruptly ends their friendship and skews her views on love and relationships.
I was young and inexperienced, but my heart told me he cared about me too. Then it just ended. And I spent the next year of my life feeling stupid for thinking he felt something for me too. To say I was devastated would be an understatement.

Spending time together, her feelings are rekindled and she can no longer deny him and the sexual tension that's been simmering. It's off the charts. Their feelings are completely tangible and intoxicating. I absolutely LOVED these two together. I couldn't get enough-surprisingly they were perfectly matched in the bedroom. He was in control. End of story. And a little kinky-spanking restraining her hands.(nothing hardcore) As independent and strong as she is you would think that they would clash, but she finds that she naturally responds to his assertiveness and control.
Grabbing my ass firmly, he growls. "Do that again and I'm gonna be feeding you here on the kitchen counter, and your food's gonna get cold while you're busy taking what I'm gonna put in that sexy damn mouth of yours."
As great as their reconnection is, it's not easy and it's not without some ups and downs. He has a championship fight coming up, his drug addicted mother's life is being threatened, and he's struggling with accepting that he's worthy enough for her. Seeing their feelings grow from intensely passionate to tender and loving was so beautiful.
As I begin to fall asleep, my head tucked into the crook of his shoulder, his arms wrapped tightly around me, I find my hand resting on his dog tags, covering his heart. There's an ache in my chest I just can't ignore anymore. This complex man protects his mother, yet has no one to protect him.
He's never had much good in his life, but Liv is everything he never knew he needed.
"I've never made love to anyone. Closest I came was with you, a lifetime ago. Scared me back then, scares the crap out of me now. But I want you, Liv. More. Just damn more. I'm not even sure what that means myself, yet I'm surer of it than anything I've ever been in my entire life."
Their trust is fragile, and he gradually lets her in, but she's hiding a secret from him that would ultimately tear them apart. I was so nervous about this, I knew something bad was going to come of it, but the whole time hoping they would resolve things quickly. They took so long to find each other again and worked so hard to build something strong together, but what Liv is hiding is something that would rock his foundations. She doesn't have it in her to tell him what she knows-it would kill him. But it may just destroy things before they really got started. When the fallout comes, they both have to make a sacrifice and it was...amazing! That's all I'm gonna say. I don't want to ruin it. The ending was incredible and everything came together perfectly delivering a much needed HEA.
This is one of my favorite couples in quite a while. They were sexy, sweet, strong individuals but together they understood each other and were willing to do anything to hang on to what they had. They grew so much and were the support that each other needed.
"I. Protect. You. Liv. I don't need you to protect me. That's how it works," he says, his voice rising, eyes stern and serious. He waits for me to accede.
"No." My response spoken with conviction, it surprises him. One eyebrow cocked, he questions, "No?" I can't tell if he's amused or annoyed.

Loved it! So much, I didn't want it to end. I can't wait for everyone to get a hold of this one.

4.5 Worth it Stars.
We met Vince during Worth the Fight as the teenage kid that Nico took under his wing. But Vince is all grown up now. But his story isn’t just about his time in the ring and a certain woman that catches his eye in the crowd. Liv does catch his eye... but she did that seven years ago.
Vince is at the top, he’s struggled to get there and he’s fallen a few times – but with the help of Nico keeping him in line. When he walked away from Liv seven years ago he knew he’d never forget her, but doubted he would ever find her again.
Liv has wanted one thing her entire life, to write. Her dream job with the paper brings her face to face with her past.
Spending her time tutoring him when they were in high school left her falling for the bad boy that she never thought would ever see her. Now as both adults, there is denying the attraction and pull never stopped. But Vince has a lot of work ahead of him to ensure that Liv doesn’t have any time to put distance between each other.
Vince never had an easy life, Nico did what he could to ensure that there was an outlet for his anger and some discipline in his life. But suddenly Liv finds herself in a situation where one of the only things that Vince has had to hold on to for all these years, might just be torn to shreds. Paradise and destruction are both within reach, what road will these two travel down?
I absolutely love Vi Keeland’s books. Typically she produces fantastic romances that don’t fall to major angst or drama to lend to the experience. Although, Worth the Chance threw a few bits of drama in the mix, the story stayed true to her style. Simple romance.
Vince was all about his groupies and the life that fighting laid before him, but he wasn’t blind to what Liv meant to him. Having seen Nico go from man-whore to a one woman man, he understands a bit of what he is feeling. Liv was a likable heroine that you could genuinely feel for. She had tough choices to make and even though she made mistakes along the way, you just couldn’t fault her for them.
I love the theme of a second chance romance and loved seeing them flicker between past and present. Getting to the meat of their early relationship and the circumstances that took them in different directions. But not just that, we were given the clear picture as to the reasons behind Vince’s behavior and made to understand them.
Another great book from Vi Keeland! I am looking forward to Jax’s story with the next installment and can’t wait to see how he and Vince will interact as the next story is told.

OMG! OMG! OMG!
I gotta stop sayin' and writing that...but OMG!
This was the story that gripped my heart and squeezed it then left it pounding its way back to revival.
What do you say when words are not enough?
Liv and Vinny/Vince - hell and heaven on earth.
Those two made my heartbeat go up the scale and kept me bearly breathing...and a whole lot more (blushing right now)
Wow, just wow! It's more then words and since I can't find enough of my own, You gotta love Vinny beyond his appearance (duh!)just because of this:

“Soon, Liv,” he mutters between impatient kisses when we come up for air. “I want you in my bed. Underneath me, on top of me, bent over…fuck, we’re going to invent new ways for me to have you.”
A small moan escapes my mouth and his grip tightens even more around me. “You better run now, Liv. If I hear that sound one more time, I’m going to be breaking my promise to take it slow and I’m not going to stop until you can’t walk for a few days.”
and this:

5 Worth The Chance Stars!!!!!
Vince-Vinny “The Invincible” Stone is an up and coming MMA fighter and ladies man. We first met Vinny when he was a teenager and was taken under the wings of both Nico and Elle. He has been training with Nico since he was a teenager. He is working on training for his upcoming fight for the title. He has never forgotten about his high school tutor Olivia (Liv) Michaels.
7 Years ago Liv was in High School with Vinny. She became his tutor and feelings started to develop between the two. That is until one day Vince was just gone. Now 7 years later Vince and Liv come face to face again for the first time.
“I want you, Liv. I wanted you seven years ago. Want you even more now. So much that I can’t think about anything else. Need you.”
Liv wants to be a writer and is currently doing her intern ship at the Daily Sun Times which is also her dream place to work. In order to get the job she must write a story. Easy enough she thinks until she finds out that the story she has to get is about an MMA fighter who also happens to be the same guy she had a major crush on in high school where she tutored him.
Vince and Liv come face to face while she is attending one of his self defense class' at the gym, from there things change for Vince and Liv.
“I lean my head into his chest, still feeling conflicted, although the close proximity tips the scale slightly on the side of seeing this beautiful man naked."
I will say Vince will take not take no for an answer. He intends to right the wrong he did with Liv all those years ago.

There are secrets revealed, people that want to hurt both Vinny and Liv. There are some ups and downs. It is not going to be an easy road for these two and I would expect no less from Vi. She does an amazing job of bringing us one hell of a story. This Series If you have not read it yet, I suggest you put it on your TBR list and get to it soon. You will not be disappointed.

Oh. Mai. Gawd. This story was just awesome. It was complex, passionate, sexy, and sweet. Vince and Liv were absolutely stellar protagonists. They had such an innocent introduction into each others lives but it was amazing to see how their relationship evolved in their adult lives. Vince was gritty and edgy but he had a sweetness to him that just compelled you to love him. And ladies if you loved Nico, Vince will set you on fire. The conflict in the story was very well done and unexpected. I think I bit my nail down to the quick at about 85% in the story. It was a bit emotionally intense. All in all, Worth the Chance was just brilliantly done.
Jax's introduction into the story was so well done and his connection to Vince was so potent. I cannot wait for his story because he's sweet (and SEXY) and needs his own happily ever after.
Vi just keeps outdoing herself! This entire series is just full of book boyfriends.

EXCELLENT: The characteristics of a 5 star story include: an awesome story; and, I love everything about the story — characters, plot, and story elements. I would definitely read it again and I would highly recommend it to a friend and rave about it often.My Thoughts:
Oh. Mai. Gawd. This story was just awesome. It was complex, passionate, sexy, and sweet. Vince and Liv were absolutely stellar protagonists. They had such an innocent introduction into each others lives but it was amazing to see how their relationship evolved in their adult lives. Vince was gritty and edgy but he had a sweetness to him that just compelled you to love him. And ladies if you loved Nico, Vince will set you on fire. The conflict in the story was very well done and unexpected. I think I bit my nail down to the quick at about 85% in the story. It was a bit emotionally intense. All in all, Worth the Chance was just brilliantly done.
Jax's introduction into the story was so well done and his connection to Vince was so potent. I cannot wait for his story because he's sweet (and SEXY) and needs his own happily ever after.
Vi just keeps outdoing herself! This entire series is just full of book boyfriends.

Liv and Vinny had an unlikely romance. Liv was the geeky tutor and Vinny was the school heart throb with girls throwing themselves at him left and right. Even before Liv started tutoring Vinny she had a mad crush on him, but after spending one and one time together she was a complete goner.
Unfortunately, things didn’t end well. Liv fell hard and had her heart broken and she and Vinny parted ways. Seven years later a writing assignment throws their lives together once more and old feelings surface again, burning brighter than ever. Of course, Liv is hesitant. She’s not the naïve school girl anymore, and so she keeps Vinny at arm’s length. But Vinny won’t have it. In the past he felt all wrong for Liv, and he let her get away. He won’t make the same mistake twice.
I love, LOVE, second chance romances. When there is that prior connection and there are deep feelings on both sides mingled in with hurt from the past, it’s a pleasure to see it all finally work out. The HEA is so much sweeter then.
This story is told from both Liv and Vinny’s POV with flashbacks shedding light on what happened between them in the past. Vinny is my favorite type of guy: possessive, protective, and caring. Liv was also lovely. She was no pushover, but not unreasonable or unmoving either. Plus, as a book lover and writer by profession, this girl’s focus can’t help but speak to the book nerd in me.
Liv and Vinny’s relationship is fiery! Parts of it reminded me a little of dom/sub type of relationship which was oh-so-hot! There is more going on and secrets from the past threaten the love Liv and Vinny finally find again. But you just know things have to work out.
This is a companion to Worth the Fight. I enjoyed that story so it was a treat to see Nico and Elle again and “be part” of a momentous event in their lives, and see their HEA still is going strong. I loved that Elle immediately befriends Liv so that Nico and Elle are there for both Vinny and Liv to help navigate their relationship.
I was hoping for another story with Jax, a secondary character we meet and I just found out there's one planned for July: Worth Forgiving, so yay!
I loved this second chance romance! Vi Keeland wrote a compelling and captivating story!

Second chance romance for Vince and Liv. After 7 years apart, Liv is a newspaper reporter and Vince has one of his biggest fight coming up.
I prefer stronger heroines so I thought Liv was a bit of a pushover but then I grew to love her and what she did for Vince...aww!!! The story felt predictable at first but from 40% I loved where the story was heading.
This was a really good sequel, a great plot, hot fighter, sexy and romantic. Perfect combination for my reading taste.

Writing: Directional narration was off and/or missing in many places. Made it difficult for my imagination to follow along at times.
Characters: We met Vinny in book 1 when Nico was trying to keep him out of trouble. Vinny has grown up and is trying to make a name for himself in the fight arena.
Liv apparently dropped out of the sky because she has no backstory. She is a writer and becomes friends with Elle.
Storyline: Liv and Vinny meet in high school, but Vinny doesn’t think he’s good enough for classy, smarty Liv. Right when things get heated, Vinny deserts Liv. Years later, Liv’s job leads her right to Vinny. They are both struggling to put the past behind them and move forward together, while Liv’s job threatens to tear them apart.
I’m a Keeland fan. I enjoy her stories, but this one felt off. The story had good bones, but the details were severely lacking.
Intimacy Scenes: Vinny is commanding in the boudoir. This section is sizzling.
Overall: I like fighter novels and this wasn’t an exception. There is also a hint of danger which made me smile. However, I have level of expectation from Keeland and this one missed the mark a little. It read like she was rushing to complete it and as a result things were lacking.

5 Vince “The Invinnnnnnciiiiible Stone” Stars!
Incredibly Sweet, Intensely Sexy and Full of Alpha Male Hotness!
The Review:
I can’t resist a story where the main characters have a history. When childhood friends fall in love and then something separates them only to find each other once again, years later, all grown up and sexy and irresistible to one another. Where their long ago feelings resurface only to realize they never truly went away to begin with. Was Worth the Chance that kind of read? Yup! Did I absolutely love it? Definitely!
Characters/Story...
We met Vinny in book one, Worth the Fight as a smart ass kid who the hero, Nico, takes under his wings, introduces him to the MMA Fighting world, all in an effort to give him something constructive to do with the crappy hand life has dealt him. Vinny is all grown up now and is training for his first real MMA fight. He’s a bit arrogant and full of himself and his present is filled with one night stands, no emotional connections and a lot of partying. But he’s never forgotten the one girl that still invades his thoughts from time to time.
Liv is trying to fulfill her dream of becoming a journalist. When she’s told to get a story on an MMA fighter, she visits the gym where he works at only to discover the boy who broke her heart years ago is now the man she needs a story from.. and he’s all grown up and sexy as hell!
These two... wow, words fail me. I loved Vinny! He was definitely no longer a boy but a tempting, take-charge alpha male who likes to dominate everything, including in the bedroom. Just as Liv couldn’t resist him, I couldn’t help but fall in love with his charm and snark. I could have easily fallen at his feet and done whatever he wanted me to do. The man was yummy!
But more than just steamy sex scenes and hot alpha action, this book had a fantastic story. These two had history and the author takes us on flashbacks that are sweet and beautiful and you get a full sense of what these two should have been years ago, if Vinny had of felt more secure of himself.
Their present is one of reconnection, learning the other as well as themselves but they also have a huge hurdle to overcome before they reach their HEA.
Liv was a great heroine, even though I wanted her to tell Vinny about the story right from the start. She was strong and independent. And “the bitch slap heard around the world” was long overdue! I actually stood up and cheered for Liv. It. Was. Awesome!
The conflict was very predictable but that didn’t take away from the fantastic writing or the perfect romance or the sweet story.
The Wrap Up:
Vi Keeland has fast become one of my favorite authors. She writes intriguing characters with alluring chemistry and stories that will delight any romance reader. Worth the Chance is definitely going in my re-read pile!

4 ‘Seriously Hot Alpha Male’ stars
Liv wants to be a writer and she has landed her dream internship in Daily Sun Times. In order to get the job she needs to write a story. Sounds easy, right?! But what if the story turns out to be about your high school crush (that you were madly in love with but he broke your heart). Even better, right?!
Vinny is a MMA fighter and we meet him in the first book in the series. He is all grown up now but still struggles with some issues from his childhood- like his mother who is a drug addict. While teaching a women’s self-defense class, he sees a girl he knew years ago…a girl that was more than just a friend to him. He made a mistake 7 years ago (not being with Liv) and he is determined to fix it now.
“I want you, Liv. I wanted you seven years ago. Want you even more now. So much that I can’t think about anything else. Need you.”
I really liked the story. I am giving it 4 stars because I felt that it needed a little more development. Some of the things felt a little bit rushed. But still…a great read. I enjoyed Liv and Vinny’s relationship. Vince Stone is SERIOUSLY hot and a true alpha (controlling, demanding, etc.).
“I. Protect. You. Liv. I don’t need you to protect me. That’s how it works.”

I LOVED this book! Even more than the first one! Vinny and Liv, they are kind of highschool sweethearts who find each other again and, let me tell you, what an amazing way to come back (if you know what I mean) ;)
Vi Keeland knows how to write everything. But, the sex scenes OMG.. thanks for a hero as HOT as Vince Stone, I am in love!
Totally recommend this series, now I am going to read the last one and I am so excited about it!

Vinny first appeared in Worth the Fight as a 13 year old bad ass and I loved him then. After reading Worth the Chance I love him even more. I am a huge fan of Miss Keeland and I can safely tell you guys this book was Worth the Wait. READ IT!!!

I just finished an ARC read of this book and all I can say is WOW!! I'm still trying to catch my breath... Awesome wouldn't even come close to describing this story. That is the first sentence. I was sucked in from the beginning. This author can WRITE!!! It had everything, and made you live the lives of the characters like you were a part of the story and lived among them. I adored every single page of it and honestly i couldn't let it of my hands. It is funny, heart wrenching and sexy as hell! Oh boy... and in top of that it had just the best book boyfriend. Vince Stone.
"All I’d ever done is ruin things. I didn’t want to ruin you.”
What can i possibly say about this man.. I am in awe for him.... Well, he is a bad boy, and he knows it. Insanely hot, overprotective, caring and so he has so much to give even though he hasn't received much from anyone. A man with tough childhood and so low self-estimate that made him build walls and hide behind them so noone can hurt him anymore, but the attraction he feels for Liv is undeniable and make him to low his guard and try to pursuit his happiness, but he has his doubts about that because she is so sweet and innocent and so different from any of the women he usually sets his sites on and his first true love and he is afraid because he thinks that he will as always fucked up again and he will end up ruin her. But the attraction is so big that he just can't be reasonable so he listens to his heart and just go for it!
"But I want you, Liv. More. Just damn more. I’m not even sure what that means myself, yet I’m surer of it than anything I’ve ever been in my entire screwed up life.”
Liv is a writter and a good girl that trying to pursuit her dreams and gain a spot in a big publishing Co. but in order to do that she has to betrayed the one he loves the most, Vinny. She and Vinny had a history together that hurt her a lot but the attraction she feels for him is undeniable so instead of her objections she decides to just stop think and feel the moment with him and try to trust him again and protect him from what she had discovered. She would do anything to keep him safe even though that means she has to deny her dreams.
"I couldn’t bring myself to crush him by telling him what I was assigned to do."
So, if you have a soft spot for bad boys and awesome romance stories this book is for you.
Sexy. Sweet. Heart-warming. Bossy.
Definitely a must read ;) but i have to warn you, this book is addictive which means that when you start it you can't let it of your sight before you finishing it so its up to you, but honestly its totaly worth it ;)

Vince is sexy, sweet, owns a motorcycle, and is a little bossy...in a good way ;). Liv is hesitant at first, afraid to have her heart broken again by this beautiful, sexy MMA fighter. They both struggle with their feelings, but since the first time Vince sees her again he only has eyes for Liv! *sigh*
There is a nemesis, Summer...ugh (but I love the way Liv takes care of her), a drug addict parent, and a misunderstanding.
Toward the end, I felt like I had been on an emotional rollercoaster, I loved everything about this book. The epilogue was awesome! Excited for Jax's story next!

I enjoyed this story. Sure, there were parts that were a little far fetched - but I do not read for reality. I read for enjoyment! I would read another book by Keeland again.
Vinny was a fighter who grew up around the business -thanks to Nico saving him when he was younger.
Liv was his friend back in high school...
Life brought them back together (with some encouragement from Vinny).

Ох, дочетох я накрая с доста напъни. Нещо има в тази поредица дето не ми харесва. Толкова ми е повърхностна и клиширана, че няма на къде повече. Наскоро бях чела друга книга (дори не помня коя), където отново журналистка трябваше да напише нещо за мъжа, който обича за да спечели работата на мечтите си и тя се жертва заради него. Та и тук така, всяко изречение имах чувството, че вече съм го прочела. Доброто момиче, отличничката, с голяма цел в живота и една на път да се сбъдне мечта среща лошото момче, вечно забъркващо се в неприятности, едва държащ се на повърхността. Liv Michaels was Vinny’s tutor in high school and she fell hard for the bad boy but then he broke her heart, leaving her devastated without an explanation. It’s been seven years and Liv has grown into a beautiful, strong, and determined woman, not the mousy, nerdy girl, she used to be in high school. She’s now a writer, competing with another woman for a job at the Daily Sun Times. This job is her dream and the most coveted job in Chicago. She was given an assignment to interview a fighter but didn’t realize the man she was interviewing would be Vinny until she walked into his self-defense class at Nico’s gym. Vinny brings back memories and feelings she managed to tamp down all these years. She can’t ignore how strongly she’s still drawn to him. But Vinny has his work cut out for him in order to keep Liv from keeping her distance. She can try all she wants but staying away from Vinny proves impossible.
Liv forgives Vinny for what happen in high school and gives herself fully to him. Liz is the only woman who has been able to tame Vinny as he goes from a man-whore to being a one woman man with Liz. They form a beautiful and sexy relationship. Their feelings for one another are strong and tangible. They have heart-pounding chemistry. I felt the passion they have for one another with every kiss and every touch and every sensual word.
"I want you, Liv. I wanted you seven years ago. Want you even more now. So much that I can't think about anything else. Need you. All you gotta do is say no, Liv. But, I'm giving you fair warning...if you don't tell me no, I'm going to take you. And then you're mine to do with as I please."
Vinny is intense. I love alpha possessive men and Vinny definitely dominates in the bedroom. He made my girly parts scream. And Liv… I can’t blame her for responding to his commanding presence and… his spankings. *wink*
Grabbing my ass firmly, he growls. "Do that again and I'm gonna be feeding you here on the kitchen counter, and your food's gonna get cold while you're busy taking what I'm gonna put in that sexy damn mouth of yours."

As strong and passionate as their connection had become, they still have issues to deal with. Vinny is under a lot stress due to his upcoming fight. Plus, his mother’s addiction has gotten her into deep trouble and Vinny is left cleaning up her mess. Liv has been forced to make a choice between Vinny and the job of her dreams. This decision for Liv should be a no-brainer. And I was a bit aggravated she kept her secret from Vinny for so long. When her secret is revealed, in the worse way possible, their relationship is put to the ultimate test. But Liv is redeemable by the end.
Worth the Chance had the right mix of sexy and emotion with an engaging storyline. I love a good second chance love story and love how the story flipped back to the past several times and we were able to see Liz and Vinny in high school together – where it all began. This couple had quite a few ups and down, with its fair share of drama and some angst, but it wasn’t written over-the-top. If you love to read fun and romantic MMA stories with a sexy alpha hero and strong heroine, then the MMA Fighter series should definitely go to the top of your TBR list. These books can be read as a stand-alone but I’ve enjoyed the whole series thus far

I haven't read the first of these books but I have read Vi Keeland's very steamy 'Belong To You' from her Cole series. The first book in the MMA Fighter series, 'Worth The Fight' has some great reviews, so I'm intrigued by this one, too... Not to mention by the hotty on the cover!

I received this ARC about 8 hours ago. (Sue me, I had to nap otherwise it would have been four hours after I got it) But I even dream about this book.
I swallowed this. Like I do for all of Vi's books. I can't imagine my life without her books. They give the girls that are like me; strong willed, determined and too entirely independent a reason to believe we will get and we will deserve our happily ever afters even though we swear we are okay being alone.
This book was just amazing. Start to finish. It was incredibly hot and passionate and I love the dedication Vinny had not only with his fighting but also to a parent that continuously let him down. I could never imagine anyone having to grow up the way he did, and to come out the person he became? A Miracle. I can tell you that I had teachers fight for me growing up, forcing me to be a better person, and just like Nico, my teachers never gave up, even when I desperately wanted to, even when Vinny wanted to.
To say that I'm impressed with Liv is an understatement. She was amazingly smart and level headed (except for the few jealous moments but who could blame her?) and took me by complete surprise!!!
I don't want to give too much away, or you won't read it. So I'm going to leave it off with this:
Vi Keeland is an extremely talented writer and I haven't not loved any of her books. This book is just as spectacular as the last one, no need to read the first one in order to get into this one, however, read them both because I fucking loved them.

First off let me just say, WOW! I love this damn book!! If you are into a good book, with a sexy, tatted fighter, than this book is just what you need. After reading this you will be saying Remy who?? I just could not get enough.
Vinny is the 13 year old boy Nico trains in Worth the Fight. Well now he is all grown up (and did I mention Sexy?). Liv is a reporter hired to write a story about Vince “The Invincible” Stone. Little did she know Vince is the Vinny she use to tutor in high school; that left her with a broken heart.
I don’t want to give away any spoilers, so I will just tell you Vinny and Liv connect and their romance is smoking hot! This story has just enough angst mixed with the right amount of steamy romance to keep you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. Vi Keeland did a great job with this book. She is one of favorite authors, and Worth the Chance is right up there as one of my favorite books! This book had my ignoring my own life so that I could get lost in theirs. This will be one of the few books I have read that will be reread on several occasions.
