(Collars & Cuffs #5) by K.C. WellsReally a 4.5 star read but it didn't make me weepy so I didn't push it up. I just loved how this one was so different than the others because instead of BDSM we got domestic discipline. I've not read many of those so it was a refreshing change. Same basic story line as the others in the series...dominant man finds boy in need of saving but I love them so I'm not complaining. Broken, damaged boys are my favorite! No major catastrophes in this one and the ending was a bunch of super fantasticness!!

This was the story of Bobby and Ichi and I must say I loved them together. They totally complimented each other. It was also nice seeing the build relationship between Ichi and his brother, Cole.

I am not a fussy reader, I like most kinds of books. I give a lot of 3 and 4 stars but it is very seldom I give only 1 star. Unfortunately this book does not deserve more than that.
It is boring and full of stuff that is not explained. A Man comes up to Ellie, he throws a knife at her that she avoids. He continues to tell her she is the chosen one and she has to kill monsters. He throws her a bag of knives and she accepts!! Eh what!!
This was free and it was not worth it.
lmao, not worth that free price tag! Ha!! You can never get that time back Jane, they should pay you! :D

Review: I haven't been really impressed with this series from the start, even though I love P.C. Cast's other series. I keep reading these hoping they'll get better. At least she hasn't turned into Anita Blake yet.

I read a lot of free books and most are okay but unfortunately this was not, luckily it wasn't too long.

This was quite fun with an interfering grandmother and a mother who hates men and a meddling ghost. Sofia has visions and usually she sees her dates married to other women but now she has had visions, explicit sexual visions, about her future husband. Problem is that she hasn't met him yet and when she does, he is engaged. A fun enough read that I might read more from this author.

(Men of London #1)Really 3.5 stars but I'm rounding down because I didn't really connect to the characters. Well maybe Eddie but Gideon was such an ass at first that I didn't warm up to him as much as I wanted to. I loved the psychic bit with Taylor and Leslie was just fun. I hope they get their own stories. I'll definitely continue with the series and hope for the best!

I didn't know much about this book going in and while I thought it was ok, nothing was resolved or explanations given. I liked the characters, but in no rush to read book two.

Review: I think I'm spoiled on Historical Romance novels. I wasn't really impressed with this one even though I know she's written a ton of them. I like Tessa Dare and Sarah MacLean a lot better. I'll probably continue to keep reading the series, but it wasn't one of my favorites.

by Renae KayeOkay, I'm going to admit to a bit of confusion with some of the phrases in this book. What in the hell is a caravan park? How does one live in a van...like a "raper" van (as we call them)? And what kind of material or whatever would need to be zipped and stuff? Those things I didn't get. The love story? I totally got that! What a great relationship these guys had. No they didn't communicate all that well but they just fit so perfectly together. Casey's Gma sure went off the deep end about them for a bit which I didn't get. Here I was thinking Lon must be really old. 33 isn't old! The whole thing just made me happy. Another winner from RK!!

Wish this story was longer. I liked Jake and Rainie together. I love this group of characters that Sinclair has created with her Shadowlanders. Some fun moments in this one. I want Mistress Anne's book.

The start of the book was very slow. The blurb had me expecting something completely different and not the slow character building of four of the main characters. It wasn't bad, I just didn't expect it. After a while the adventure picks up and at the end of the story things are revealed about several of the characters.

by N. WoodMore 3.5 but rounded up due to pure sweetness. It was a bit insta-love and commitment but still a good read. The mystery of what's wrong with Caleb was driving me nutso in the beginning but I like that the author brought a difficult medical condition into the story. And I absolutely adored how Isaac treated Caleb. Sweetest guy ever. Nothing terribly deep, no angst, just a little sex. Quick read.

This was a great second book in this series. When I read the first book I didn't realise that each book would be about different characters but that is okay. William we met in the first book and both he and Cerise are very likeable strong characters. I also liked the young people Gaston and Lark.

(Hope Cove #3) by Cate AshwoodI've been anxiously awaiting Haydn's book because he's one of my favorite people in this series. That said, I didn't actually enjoy his story as much as I thought I would. I didn't understand his intense need to stay single or his anxiety about relationships. No, he didn't have the best examples growing up but nothing traumatic happened to him. It felt a little like trumped up angst to make the book feel deeper. I know it sounds like I didn't like it but I actually did enjoy the book quite a bit, I just had high expectations.
