Cute book so far...I'm at about 20%.

I'm listening to the audio version and I'm one of those people have to really focus when listening to voices with "accents". It's narrated by a British narrator, so I'm having to really concentrate to follow! Sometimes I miss things as I'm listening to hard to what they are saying to hear the words that I often miss what they are saying!

1) Who lets other people try on their engagement ring? Especially if it's a family heirloom? But I've always heard it is bad luck to let others try on your engagement ring!

2) When Poppy is singing to the Japanese business man at the beginning, it's hilarious listening to the audio! I started snickering while listening to her sing Mr. Yamasaki?? to the Beyonce song Single Ladies!

3) In England, they call vacuum cleaners Hoovers...is that based on the brand of Hoover cleaner? Like tissues, most people call them Kleenex, but that's really a brand.

I finally finished this earlier today. Overall it was a hilarious book.

I'm at the part where Sam just found out about the emails Poppy has sent on his behalf...I think in the end it will all work out and maybe he'll see it was a good thing. It's setting him a good light with everyone, but I can see how he's pretty peeved!

I can't imagine being Poppy and doing that! While it seems like a good idea at the moment, I don't think she thought it through AT ALL!!!

And what happened to the original PA?? What's with the secret messages? She's involved in something...she did something wrong/bad is going to somehow pay the price!

Overall a cute read...I'd never read a Sophie Kinsella before but I'd read her work again if I need a good hearted read.

I loved most of this book, like, a lot, but it kind of fell apart at the end, for me. The whole thing with the wedding and the mid-wedding texting and all that jazz was just too much for me. I totally understand when people have different opinions. A few years ago a popular book I attempted to read and DNF it...just wasn't into it at all...the sequel eveN got good raves and I didn't Have any desire to read it. That's what I love about reading...we all get different things out of it!

At first I really didn't like the main character, but I think it changed a lot during the book.
