Just finished a sweet (and sexy) friends to lovers romance by Melissa Schroeder called A Little Harmless Sex. It's the first book in her Harmless series (offered as a freebie). I read the 2017 revised and expanded version. I also read the very short extra scene follow-up Max and Anna.

Overall it was fluffy, but did tug at the heartstrings as Max pursued Anna, the woman (and best friend) he'd been in love with for 10 years. Anna loved Max, too, but didn't want to wreck their longtime friendship. (Though he's a few years older, they grew up next door to one another and had been friends since they were kids.) Add a bit of baggage from both...

I've added the series (the newer versions) to my TBR. Some of the shorts were released in the author's newsletter so I hope I can track them down when I get back to the series. I don't think they're essential, but I like to read series extras if I can.

Recently read The Glass Sisters books: Thread of Fear and Whisper of Warning by Laura Griffin.

I didn't enjoy the first book much, mainly because I couldn't feel the romance between the hero and the heroine. I did enjoy the second book though—both the romance and the suspense/mystery.

Currently reading—and enjoying—the Tracers series by this author.

Thought I'd pass along this link from a newsletter I get. It's to a BookFunnel romance giveaway. I have no idea how long these have been available, but a note on the site says it ends soon.

There are 114 offerings. Most look like contemporary (sexy+), though in my quick perusal I saw a couple of light-looking romance covers and some paranormals, including a set of 4 stories.

Some of the covers grabbed my notice as I counted the list, so I'm headed back to see if the title and blurbs interest me enough to download.

I also read the latest in Jane Fox's Zaftig Dating Agency series (number 30!), Drawn Together. The series (yes, I've read them all to date) comprises short insta-love stories all featuring couples set up by their friends through a matchmaking service. All sweet and fun with HEAs.
