Between this group and another I've joined with challenges, I had to start an Excel spreadsheet just to keep track.Today I'm going to the library to pick up Dead Until Dark (for part of task 25.4), Talon of the Silver Hawk (for 20.5), and Shadows in Flight (for task 15.7). (This all works out perfectly because those are books I'd planned on reading anyway.)
Just finished Wicked Appetite. Listening to Ysabel. And just started 11/22/63, which is going to take a while, but so far, it's excellent.
In the last couple of days I've finished Anna and the French Kiss (5.7), Pandemonium (20.4), and Divergent (20.10). Now I'm going to start Will Grayson, Will Grayson and The Graveyard Book for 25.9. :)
Still listening to 1776 and reading The Woman in White plus I started The Science of Harry Potter: How Magic Really Works today.
Finished "The Lovely Bones" and working on my review. Started American Gods by GR author Neil Gaiman.
I just finished Wrong Place, Wrong Time, it started off good but as it progressed it became inconsistent. I hope the next book is good, lately I have been reading many disappointing books:(I am about to begin
I am SO BEHIND on my reading! I'm not getting a chance to sit and read, and when I do get the chance I'm too tired or there is housework to do, etc.So what do I do? Borrow more books at the library, of course!
Though I'm currently reading The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and The School of the Seers: A Practical Guide on How to See in the Unseen Realm, I also picked up:
Mercy by Jodi Picoult (Been wanting to try this author for a good while now - how does she compare to Nora Roberts? I like Nora's style but it's too pagan for me, with too much steam and romance.)
and The Book Thief erm... thanks, GoodReads. ;)

I really really like Jodi Picoult! Though I haven't read any Nora Roberts, so I can't really say how they compare. But I hope you enjoy Picoult. I think I've read five of her books so far (most of the rest are waiting on my bookcase), but not Mercy.
Dalynn, earlier this week, I went to the library to return a couple of books. Instead of dropping them in the return slot, I actually went into the library so... Yes, I ended up getting another book out even though I still have 7 other library books that are in my home for a limited amount of time! And, because I am reading the library books on my SRC reading plan so quickly, I even had the thought that maybe I could substitute the library copy for some of my own when I run out of library books on my Reading Plan! That way I could continue to visit the library over the next couple of months!!!!Can you tell I really like the Library?

Jodi Piccoult tends to have her characters deal with an ethical question where there are lots of gray areas about what's right or wrong. I have not read Mercy, but I read Nineteen Minutes and My Sister's Keeper which were both good book discussion books. The Nora Roberts books I read were just hot romance novels.
I've still got 1776 and The Science of Harry Potter: How Magic Really Works going, plus I started Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder.
Currently reading Dead Until Dark (5.8), The Hunger Games (25.9), Good Girls Don't (25.9), Frankenstein (30.2), and Ten Things We Did (30.3)
Right now I'm reading Blue Sky Days by Marie Landry. I got it free as one of those read & review things. I'm 5 or 6 chapters into it so far and it's pretty boring. the novel is not very well written and its meant to be a YA romance novel but the main characters who are 19 & 22 talk like their in their 60's! And if that wasn't bad enough, the love story is far too unrealistic, so I'm finding it very hard to connect with the characters. I think this is one novel where I'm definitely going to struggle through it.
I'm almost done with 1776, I've got a ways to go with The Science of Harry Potter: How Magic Really Works plus I started Still Life With Murder.
I'm going to start reading Joseph Campbell's Hero with a Thousand FacesMy friends told me that it's a great book, lets hope so :-)
I decided its about time I started reading more classics so yesterday I started reading
by Emily Bronte.
Currently reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone (5.6), Dead Until Dark (5.8), Frankenstein (30.2), and Ten Things We Did (30.3)
Just finished 11/22/63 and Maniac Magee, which were wonderful, and Ysabel, which wasn't. Now I'm reading The Princess Bride, To Say Nothing of the Dog and listening to Over Sea, Under Stone.
I'm reading River's End and BoneMan's Daughters - there are some advantages to having to stay off my feet for a short while.

, it is intriguing but not very consistent so far. I almost did not check it out but the synopsis intrigued me!

He's writing a book now about a devastating flood in his hometown of Norwich, CT, set back around 1940, that swept away many people in the water. It sent chills through me because my father-in-law told stories about trying to get home from work in Norwich on the day of the flood.

That is very interesting, I did not really like it but I really enjoyed his writing style. It was not very consistent though, hence the low rating it received and the review.
Reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and still listening to The Yiddish Policemen's Union.
Sue, how do you feel about The Yiddish Policemen's Union so far? It's been on my TBR list for AGES, and I keep picking it up and putting it back down.
