SOLVED. YA fantasy trilogy - had gods of order and gods of chaos. [s]

Hi,

I'm trying to track down the author of a young adult fantasy trilogy that was set in the same world as a trilogy for adults. The young adult one had a protagonist named Sian and was set in a temple/school environment. The religious framework was based around a series of Gods who were aligned to order or chaos.

The adult books were about one of those gods of chaos coming into his powers. Both are set in a tower on a cliff.

The author was female and I think they were written in the late 80s/early 90s. I would have read the young adult ones in the mid to late 90s.

Maybe something by Louise Cooper? Found her name searching online. There's a book called Daughter of Storms that was published in 1996.

This is a young adult novel set in the same universe as the author's Time Master and other books, where the universe is controlled by the Lords of Chaos and the Lords of Order.
