1) Read a book that features a character who wears a fun costume or disguise.
2) Read a book about a character who is the same age or in the same grade as you.
3) Read a spooky story. If you don't enjoy scary stories, read a non-spooky book with a traditionally spooky character like a friendly ghost or funny monster.
4) Snuggle up in your favorite blanket and read a book independently or with a family member.
5) Read a book with no pictures and use your imagination to draw a picture of the main character.
