I've had a similar problem with the impossibility to buy an ebook in France, while it was available in the US & UK... Never managed to get around it, I simply bought the first used copy at a decent price I could find :p

I just found out in another group that Germany blocks access to Gutenberg.org simply because a few books don't work with their copyright laws. That's just awful!

In my buddy reads group we have to reschedule so many books because publishing dates vary in different countries.
