Series Read: Walt Longmire series by Craig Johnson
RE: The Trivia Question!I came up with six, maybe seven, in the first two books, three in Bk. 1 and four in Bk. 2. Feel free to correct me because I'm really not 100% sure I caught all the victims.

Karrie...not sure if these are before Book 2, Chapter 9, or after. They are definitely in Book 2, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone. Don't click on the spoiler until you're finished with Death Without Company!

Now I'm stuck until I finish the book! ;) Here was my motivation for the question:(view spoiler)
I am on chapter 12 and hope to finish today.
Thanks for the response! I will post again when I finish and we can compare notes

OH NO! What does that mean? Help me!!!! I would be devastated if I ruined anything for anyone! And if I have a apologize!
Do you mean that when I look at them I should close them again? I thought I was only affecting my screen. Or am I typing my spoilers in wrong?

Ah! I know the one you're missing and it's from Book 1. (view spoiler)

I think we've all done it! No worries...you can always go back and edit your posts if you're concerned. : )

No, I think Lucian was Sheriff when that happened. I've re-read (view spoiler)
I bet Walt is eager to get back to that dry spell!

I just finished book 2 and I loved it!I love his characters and I love how when we gain a character they tend to stay a part of the series. Here is something that made me wonder and bothered me a little bit

The reference was made in chapter 9 of book 2 so he wouldn't count.
I'm still working on
(I'm about halfway through, just getting to the "big event" at "The AR." I had to stop and read another challenge book. Yes, it was painful to put down.I love how this one is setting up. As usual, I have no clue as to the guilty party. About Henry & Walt: (view spoiler)["br"]>["br"]>
Michelle, we need more Walt & Henry time together! Maybe in the next book. *crossing fingers*I'm finished with
and it was another fantastic book. I gave this one five stars. It read like an old western and I did NOT see the whodunnit coming!(view spoiler)
Mary & Laura, let me know when you're ready to start

I have
from the library so I can start this week.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
I can start Junkyard Dogs tomorrow. I promised myself I'd finish The Highlander's Touch today. I don't know why it feels so slow, but I'm waiting for something to happen other than inner monologues of "He/she is hot and I want to, but I can't." It really isn't that bad, so maybe I'm in an impatient reading mood?

Laura, I could wait a couple days to start the next book if you want to join Michelle and I. Not sure when her library book is due, but I'm buying the series as I read. It's a keeper! : )
My next BR doesn't start until Feb. 8th and I think I'm going to leave it that way so I can clean up older challenges. Let me know what works for you and I'll be here.

I love this series too! I just looked and I 'm still number 2 in queue at the library. It may be a while, I wouldn't want to hold anyone back.
I'll go ahead and read Junkyard Dogs with Michelle so she isn't rushed on her library book. We'll all catch up with each other on:

Finished
Whew! This was good! I'm having a fit trying to pick my favorite in the series. It seems like each one gets better and better. This wrapped up so neatly, while still keeping me surprised. I had the wrong person pegged...again. LOL!

As I said in my review, it amazes me how the author comes up with fresh new ideas for his stories. There's no obvious "formula" writing going on. He drops his characters into brand new territory with each book, yet keeps them true to their nature. Love this series!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Sorry, Mary! I didn't plan to inhale another one so quickly, but I couldn't put it down. I'll still be here to chat with you about it though! Michelle is still reading this one, too. You're in for a treat! This is one of his best...IMHO.
OMG! (she says in her best imitation of her teenage daughter). The beginning of Junkyard Dogs should not be started in your car on the way to work. Luckily I have a short commute. My eyes were watering, I was laughing so hard.
