if there is more than two letters, you can use it no matter where it is :)
And I'm not doing that great, got a test back which I a did horrible job. Hope you feel better soon!

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Finished American Royals by Katharine McGee not sure what to use it for. I know it was published in September.

You can't really do much more than use "amERicAN royals" with the RE in "there" and the "AN" in "want" an maybe an additional "A" from "American" for another "A" in "want" which would be for the 4th board then. It's an unfortunate book for this challenge, because it has so many letters that we don't need at all and there are no other language editions that we could use.

Question, If I have books on #2 and #3, I can't post until we get to those right? Or can I just post as I go? Sorry, this challenge is slightly confusing.

L an IE in I Want To Believe

Hi guys, I'm unfortunately going to have to back out of this challenge as a team member. There's a lot going on on my end and I sadly don't have the time needed to contribute to this right now. I'm going to let Sarah know. I'm so sorry and good luck!

Sorry my topic notifications weren’t on and I thought they were.

I just finished The Zero Game by Brad Meltzer and am confused about where to put it.

message 124: by Evelyn (new)

Evelyn | 1882 comments @Slytherpuff

You can use "T" for the tagline "Trust no one" Also, you can go on the team review thread and see what letters we need to complete the tagline

message 125: by Evelyn (new)

Evelyn | 1882 comments you are allowed to use up to 5 letters

message 126: by Evelyn (new)

Evelyn | 1882 comments You can also re- read the instructions on where you are allowed to put your letters on the main thread.

message 135: by [deleted user] (new)

I’m sorry but I’m still really confused

I know that I can claim a T for The in The Zero Game by Brad Meltzer. As it looks like I can’t use the rest of the word and have to have two letters from another word I’m not sure if there’s much else I can do unless I can do multiple tag lines for one book.

Trust no one T for the

Believe B from author (don’t think this is allowed)

You can use EL and ER from Meltzer or whole THE (or part of it) as well. But maximum is 5 letters.

message 137: by [deleted user] (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments I'm currently bored so I thought I might as well update ya'll on my reading. I'm been going through a bit of a slump. I'm stalled on Onyx (Lux, #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout I might have finally broken it though as I'm almost half done The Demon King (Seven Realms, #1) by Cinda Williams Chima . We shall see. My SAD has really been acting up lately. Mental health is not good. :(

HeatherH (bkwrm85) | 2156 comments @Anna - I've been in the same boat.. struggling a lot with my depression and still struggling with grief after the loss of my mom in June. I have been struggling to focus on just about anything at all. Hugs <3

message 142: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! Losing a parent is one of the hardest things in life! I can tell you from experience it does get better. It all just takes time. :)

message 143: by HeatherH (new)

HeatherH (bkwrm85) | 2156 comments Thanks <3 I know it will eventually, just for some reason has felt worse lately than it did even right after. Doesn't help with so many holidays happening!

message 144: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments At first you experience shock and denial which both helps and hinders. My guess is that with the holidays coming up it’s harder to be in denial.

Holidays are always hard the first few years. Allow yourself to grieve on those days and surround yourself with family and friends if you think they will help.

message 145: by HeatherH (new)

HeatherH (bkwrm85) | 2156 comments Yes, 100%. Septmeber was both mine and her birthdays passing for the first time without her. We are almost through Halloween (she always made my kids costumes, she was incredibly talented and creative, so buying cheap quality store ones was sad for us all). The just Thanksgiving and Christmas to go..

Reading is both a distraction from it and also some days makes it worse. She read SO MANY BOOKS lol and had similar tastes as me so a really good book will break my heart all over because I remember that she would have loved it or whatever..

Anywayyyyyyss.. didn't mean to hijack your struggle, just meant to tell you you're not alone. Sorry >.<

message 146: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (last edited Oct 25, 2019 02:25AM) (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Christmas was the hardest for me. I lost my dad at 11 so Christmas was still a big thing for me. After he passed we just kind of let it go.

Those moments are hard when you want to share something. Maybe try journaling? Like imagine you are talking to her? That might help. I wish I had done that. Would have kept more memories alive.

Thanks. Your issue has actually helped distract me so it was very helpful.

It’s really nice to meet people who are on a similar path.

GridGirl | 622 comments I'm really sorry for being a little bit absent. Uni started again and things got really crazy with all the clubs I'm participating in. But I have been reading quite a bit, I just haven't posted my reviews yet. The reviews will follow in the next few days :)
