I think you post all your BRs on it"
Just the ones that are scheduled or also the ones I'm still looking for BR partners? :)

@Gridgirl sorry I don't know!"
Cool thank you <3

There might be one on listopia, but I'm not sure. You can play around with this though - https://www.goodreads.com/book/popula... and just change the year on the little thing on the right hand side to see popular books published in specific months ☺

Ah, thanks Sarah :D

Never mind, I figured it out with a different language edition ;)
How would you guys prefer to handle it if we have more letters that fit the taglines than we get points for? For example, I will read Warcross by Marie Lu (using the German language edition: Das Spiel ist eröffnet - I actually need to check with Sarah if this edition is allowed because of the 'ö', but let's just use it for our example). The book was first published in September and is Sci-Fi, which already gives us 4 bonus points. This means I can only get 6 more points through letters. But this language editions allows a lot more than that. So, should we focus on getting the taglines done and using as many letters as possible even though we don't get more bonus points? Or should I leave the letters for other people who might get bonus points for them?

Well, that is true. I don't know how I didn't think about that 😂

I also changed one of your letters to make more sense on the spreedsheet. You can take a look to see it that's fine :)

Edit: I realized why it does what it does and it's actually a really smart system! Sorry, I'll try to be less annoying from now on :/

I just tried some things and it seems like we would have to program it ourselves. It's not difficult, I'd just have to look into the programming language they use for these Google sheets.

@Aneta: I'm not sure if you can use all of the letters from Warbreaker exactly the way you put them in the spreadsheet. If I'm correct about the rules, if you want to use letters that are not in the beginning of a word you need at least two next to each other that fit two letters that are next to each other in the tagline. So you would not be able to use the letter R, because it's in the middle of the word and you're not using the letters next to it.
(Correct me if I'm wrong here, I just hope to avoid confusion in the review thread later)

Thank you for info! I will change it :) I got lost in these rules :D

I completely understand, they are really confusing this time :D

It's a lot of fiddling around with the titles, that's true! Maybe let us know what books you're planning on reading and we'll help you fit it into the spreadsheet :)

One more thing: I don't think you are allowed to use blocks of letters from the authors name.
The rules say: "The third way is a mixture of these methods, taking blocks of letters from titles, as long as there are at least two letters together, and they are in the correct order, such as Rust & Stardust by T. Greenwood, could be used for 'trust', by using 'rust' and then claiming the T from the author's initial to complete 'Trust'."
It specifically says "blocks of letters from titles".
Edit: Since Warbreaker does not really allow to take two letters that we don't already have on both boards, I'd recommend using different language editions like "El aliento de los dioses", "Il Conciliatore" or "Sturmklänge" (the ä can be used as an a, I just checked with Sarah the other day)
Edit #2: I just found that there is an edition called "Vyjednavač" which would be great to get the "V" in for the second tagline!

Okay, I will use Vyjednávač. It's actually edition I'm going to read so it's perfect :D I will change it soon.
Ok, I'm still trying to work my head around this challenge so I may need some help in the beginning find places for my books lol. I'm starting with
which is a BR

I find this one a more difficult challenge than the others. I've added 3 books. I hope I did it right...

I've deleted one of my books and added another one. So far I undersand that we can use every first letter of the word in the X - files - quotes.

But hey, I like a challenge!

You can check if you have any books on your shelves that are sci-fi, were first published in 1993 or were first published in September. These will get us bonus points, so that's a good way to start :)

I do have one other book I might be finishing from last month. I might also just restart it honestly. We will see.

NO - Trust No One
OU - The Truth Is Out There
B or V or L - I Want To Believe
+ 2 bonus points for sci-fi
Can I use it like this?

There is a spreed sheet so you can use that to see if there are better places to put your letters.

I know about spreadsheet but I wanted to know if I understand this correctly. I used spreadsheet for my BR and I did it wrong. I just want to be sure this time.

ah, okay I see. yep, looks good to me. But you can't use for than 5 bonus points including the sci-fi tag
I added a banked tab to the spreadsheet. I finished Serpent & Dove and added it to the banked tab as I didn't see anywhere on the current spreadsheet to place it :)

Can you use OU? I thought that it was only the first letter?
How is everyone doing? I'm sick at home for a couple of days, so I try to keep my reading - shedule.
