I really liked this book. It was recommended to me by an editor. It's been a few years since your post, but what did you think?

N. Glass | 53 comments I read "The INCARNEX Compound" and found it an exciting read. It presents a unique dystopian mystery that keeps you guessing through the action as David must uncover the conspiracies around the use of his compound.

David Harris is dead...
Or he was, until he woke up handcuffed to a bed eight years after being shot in the head.

The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Green

(With the books I enjoy. My tendency is to re-read 2-3 times. Key in on anything that I might have missed with the first read.)

message 5491: by Joshua (new)

Joshua Lavender | 5 comments Recently finished Of Love and Other Demons by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Not bad, very tragic, comic at times. But not my favorite Garcia Marquez book, not even among the short ones. I liked Chronicle of a Death Foretold much better. That book is a small masterpiece.

Thanks heaps. Talk about Fate being blind, I just got a weird email at one of three email addresses that relates to my requests for reviewers and this is what I got:
From: ANONYMOUS
PLUS YOUR PERSONAL INFO GIVEN TO LOCAL CRIMINALS IN YOUR AREA! YES WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU LIVE. STOP YOUR GOODREADS AND SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTIONS IF YOU DON'T WANT IT TO HAPPEN! WE DON'T LIVE IN YOUR COUNTRY AND YOUR LAWS CAN DO NOTHING TO US!
I sent that to admin who are doing a forensics, Amazing.

Jeff Senior | 10 comments I've had a few of these anonymous and threatening emails as well, as have several other people. There doesn't seem to be any particular reason for them and they seem to be empty threats. They just seem to come from people who have nothing better to do with their sad lives.

message 5496: by Omama (new)

Omama Malik (omamamalikom) | 2 comments I am currently reading a lovely book "And the Mountains Echoed" by Khaled Hosseini. Although I haven't finished it yet, I can already tell that it is well worth reading. Once I complete it, I will write a review.

message 5497: by David (new)

David D'Arcy (davidjdarcy) | 10 comments I'm currently reading The Last Lieutenant, the first in a series by Todd Ingram which starts out days before the fall of Corregidor. Why we decided to send all our resources to Britain instead of fighting the Japanese is beyond me (no, I do understand, but we didn't know how barbaric the Japanese were). I hope the story picks up, because I'm about to pitch the book. I'm not saying it's not good, but so far, it's depressing, especially since I know what happens in a few days.
