New "high density" seating arrangements on planes; Redheads are awesome; carpet/drape bible reference?

I'm with Bun. I want trains!

The seating itself doesn't seem so awful, it's having to face other people that would be a drag. Also, where are the seatbelts?

I love trains. I was thinking today about reviving a train thread and talking more about WHY we don't have a better national train line.
I told Sweeter a weirdly discombobulated narrative that blamed deregulation and Regan. He didn't buy it.

I'm hoping my gray comes in like Bonnie Raitt's.

So? And? At that moment aspects of interior decorating and color coordination are more important than anything else?

The whole "carpet and drapes" trope is so juvenile anyway. Could we, as a society, get past this phrase? It's stuck in some kind of frat boy 60s era. Did Frank Sinatra invent it?
Well, as it says in Ecclesiastes, "there is nothing new under the sun." So probably it dates from the Old Testament.

If someone was going to bring oil into the carpet/drapes discussion, I wasn't expecting it to be Jonathan.
